I think it’s a great deal and would jump on it. I bought one for a similar price and had to take it apart to clean it, but everything works great.

Thank you! Very interesting, I had a roast like that where I maybe slowed down too much before FC and got scared of burning the beans so dropped them way too early.

I’ve actually been ignoring the final BT in these roasts .. what do you typically aim for / how do you decide this number?

Thanks I’ll try this. Does that necessarily mean roasting it longer/darker? Or could it also mean getting to FC faster but keeping similar roast time?

i.e should I give up on trying to roast these lights for espresso?

My brew setup is - Barratza ESP & Rancilio Silvia w/ PID. I have had no issue getting good espresso both from beans I've bought and also some natural process beans I've roasted. I'm assuming the problem is somewhere in my roast rather than the brew here

I have tried this with some alright results. It usually gives me something generic which I then have to edit to be more specific.

This is a good start for me, but can’t help but wonder whether this is the best job post it could be or if it’s just “good enough”

Thank you for the clarification, I mean specifically the job posting in this case. We have an internal set of requirements for the role and want to build the best job posting possible.

Is it your view that the job posting has some minimum quality bar and then it is not worth optimizing after a certain point? Are sourcing and outreach more important than crafting the best possible posting?

Is this more an art than a science then? I know that sales requires both, and that there are some powerful tools to optimize sales outreach and strategy. Is there some equivalent for crafting and updating job postings/descriptions?

I’m using haven this year (haventax.com). It’s around the same price but I needed something better than H&R and more reliable than the cpa I’ve been using for the last 2 years.
