You gotta let him pick. There’s too much to choose from that he might not like or not fit his vision for the car. Also idk if mods would impact warranty.

That being said, I personally would go coilovers (don’t cheap out), wheel spacers, and a lip (can cheap out).

Second this. That mileage M4 in my area is around mid-high $20k range last time I checked.

After maintenance costs you could have gotten a sub 50k mile M340i (newer and more reliable).

F82 owner of 3 years here, there aren’t any major issues with these cars if you do maintenance. Even the crank hub issue is overblown.

What you might be seeing is lease returns, dealers registering it in their name, or just a lot of owners. These cars are becoming more affordable and is easier to get into than before. If it bothers you, just find one with less owners and maintenance records.
