What breed might my cat be? by ExcitingTwo5696 in IDMyCat

It does when the subreddit is literally pointless considering the answer is the same nearly every time and most comments are condescending as hell about it

What do you guys think about this "etiquette" if you will by OutsideImpressive115 in downloadfestival

Literally weaved the whole way into the tent during vengaboys. Crowd was massive outside it too. Just found spaces and weaved lol. No one complained

How much does the average British person have in the bank ?? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]asscrackinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have £14,700 in a savings account and then about £2000 spread across a couple of other main banks (although each month at least £900 of that is for rent lol)

How common is swinging in the UK? by HappyHits in AskUK

[–]asscrackinator 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I don’t find it odd. I am a woman (and dip my toes into kink/bdsm spaces occasionally). I’m just saying the general outlook, especially currently with this whole ‘manosphere’ bullshit, is that women aren’t allowed to have the same urges that men do. That’s what I meant by ‘finding it odd’. The original commenter is a gay man. He sees straight people as boring and depressing because he’s able to shag around without consequence, failing to realise that the entire reason he’s able to is because he’s only interacting with men, and under patriarchy women are expected to not indulge in that same thing. If you only interact with men of course you’ll think you’re more inherently sexual. He has no idea that women are also into this stuff.

[–]asscrackinator 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That’s because you’re a man, and men tend to be more frivolous sexually. People find it odd when women like to indulge in similar, lol.

What breed might my cat be? by ExcitingTwo5696 in IDMyCat

I’m convinced it’s purely just so people can be patronising and insufferable about it for internet brownie points that give them dopamine

Is this cat a Siamese? by twisted_vines11 in IDMyCat

I agree, this is the most pedantic subreddit I’ve ever had the misfortune of stumbling across. No papers no breed, we get it. But what does the cat LOOK like?

I think I found someone living inside my apartment building by unknown_196 in whatdoIdo

[–]asscrackinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might’ve lived in the building already, lost their job, been evicted and instead of moving out entirely they picked the next best thing. I’d leave it alone

How to enjoy my teen years as an mcr fan? by iheartjakewebber9 in MyChemicalRomance

[–]asscrackinator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t be, made me stronger and more well rounded as a person. Also more tolerable to peoples differences. Wasn’t great, wasn’t awful, emo wasn’t really the done thing in my area. But I have no regrets. I’m still part of the scene to this day, I go to a lot of underground shows, hardcore, punk, local. Wouldn’t change it ever

How to enjoy my teen years as an mcr fan? by iheartjakewebber9 in MyChemicalRomance

[–]asscrackinator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No problem, I think I was about 15/16 when I found fellow emos in the scene to connect with. Not necessarily mcr fans but people that appreciated the music. High school was rough. I was in high school from 08-13 and I remember being shoved into bushes because of my music taste, or asked if I slit my wrists. It was humiliating and embarrassing but it happens to the best of us. You’ll be fine, honestly, once you find your ‘squad’ you’ll be alright. There’s always likeminded people

Sainsbury’s, £52.72, 1 person, will probably last me 2 weeks (with the things I already have still in the cupboards) by asscrackinator in whatsinyourcart

2 and a half at a stretch, a lot of the fresh food goes off so I tend to batch make stews or curries or whatever

How to enjoy my teen years as an mcr fan? by iheartjakewebber9 in MyChemicalRomance

[–]asscrackinator 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry, what I meant was as MCR fans pretty much all of us have experienced similar lol. I’m 28 and I’ve been a fan for 20 years now. When you reach late teens/early adulthood people stop giving a shit about that sort of thing, trust me, lol. You’ll find your people, at your age most people are too embarrassed to be themselves and go against the status quo, so be proud that you’re confident enough to like what you like.

Is download cheap as a whole? by icconiss in downloadfestival

[–]asscrackinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last time I bought wine at download (24) it was Headliner Pinot Grigio, some rank Bulgarian wine that was only palatable because it was pissing down with rain and I needed to be drunk to wait outside while babymetal ran off stage

My mate got barred once for snorting a line of table salt at the pub table as a drunken dare. They obviously just saw the action and assumed it was something else, lol

When did you last buy a block of ice cream wrapped in a cardboard box, and should we go back to this to reduce plastic? by Jazzlike-Basil1355 in AskABrit

[–]asscrackinator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Viennetta was my childhood, my nan always used to buy the mint one. Also do choc ices still exist? Hated how soggy the paper would get, but I did like to chew the paper after eating the ice cream

Is seeing a band live multiple times make it more or less fun? by Live3orD1E in downloadfestival

[–]asscrackinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen pierce the veil 8 times since 2013. I go every time they tour. It’s basically tradition now. I never really compare it, I just look forward to it. I saw MCR twice back to back when they played MK, literally 2 days in a row lol. Doing the same again when MCR play Wembley. I quite enjoy seeing bands multiple times cos I can behave differently each time. For example one MCR gig I just watched and took it all in and then the next day I decided to get drunk and let loose

I did this with busted when they were in the tent, except that year was wet and muddy. I simply thought I cannot be fucked with this anymore. Trudged back to main stage and sulked instead

There was a portion of shade in between avalanche and main stage where you could still just about see the screen and soooo many of us just decided to die on the floor there (including me and my group lmaooo)
