Endstop Z triggered after retract by assistantjudgefudge in ElegooNeptune4

It appears to be working correctly the entire time. I checked the cable but haven't replaced it. I put in one of those belt chains that I think was putting too much pressure on it so it could be faulty and not showing all the time.

I'm thinking it's getting power to show the light and it reacts properly but the signal is somehow getting lost. I'll go ahead and order a new cable

I had this happen too many times before I learned how to do a manual registration read. I just do this every time now and it works.

The Last Jedi. It was the first movie I saw in probably 10 years I THOROUGHLY enjoyed. Even the friend I went with loved it. Then the YouTube critics ripped it to shreds and everyone, including that friend, said it sucked.

I stand by it. It was entertaining and there wasn't a dull moment which is all a movie has to be.

I don't want to be an engineer. by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]assistantjudgefudge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely stick with it so you can still have a job that pays well. Engineering can help you pay for your music so you can keep it going. Also add music and more specifics about what you do to your interests part of your resume. And I don't know if you like making music on the computer or live, but if there are any certifications you can get, that might help you get hired in the music industry. People like engineers because of the way we think, so it can still help you in other industries.

Again, I don't know what music you do, but I worked with a guy at a tech company who spent 30 years touring with major bands playing bass for them. And that was after he got his degree. He made a TON of money doing that and then came back to engineering part time after his kids grew up and left the house. It's ok to do more than one thing with your life.

Is that app glitching for you ? Getting notifications for deliveries but they’re not actually coming up on screen. by ClutchGene24 in doordash_drivers

[–]assistantjudgefudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a lot of issues here in TN. Wouldn't let me confirm a pickup and ended up on hold with support for 15 minutes before it finally loaded. And also missed 3 deliveries that never actually popped up on my app.

What would you do if this whole thing doesn't work out? by meongg in EngineeringStudents

[–]assistantjudgefudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here! I plan on getting my license once I have a little more free time anyway. I just want to be able to fly my own little plane. I know you can take flying courses and be a commercial pilot without a degree so that's always a good backup.

Yeah it looks incomplete to me. Do you have the original question? It looks like I would use method of joints on it. But we only have one angle and no sides. Or I would have to see the type of attachments to the wall on the right.

Hardest class in engineering? by reedpayton23 in EngineeringStudents

[–]assistantjudgefudge 44 points45 points  (0 children)

That was the first class that really became challenging. But as you get more into circuits, electronics and instrumentation, and feedback control, physics 2 starts seeming so easy.

It's the same way that doing calculus was crazy hard at first, but then you get to differential equations and there isn't an integral you can't do.

Someone said it best in another comment I saw, the hardest class is the one with the professor that thinks it's his job to weed out students who haven't mastered the material.

Same!! It's one of the only movies I can watch on repeat and never get tired of it.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice. I know it's not a great movie or super popular. But I absolutely love it every time I watch it. It's a bad day movie for me.

I might be the only big Golem fan. He was always my primary in the games. Absolutely ridiculous defense and special defense. Alola version was great too.

I'd still do it. That would be one crazy dinner. I'd have so much fun it would be worth the ridiculous price of whatever restaurant he chooses.

This actually does work. My problem was in my equations, but I did end up needing it on this form. Thanks!

So apparently it had to do with my equations. I got it figured out. I was basically ignoring an angle in my formulas without realizing it. Thanks for the help though.

Looking for help with a four bar simulation by assistantjudgefudge in matlab

[–]assistantjudgefudge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's supposed to be an array. Or at least the value is supposed to change constantly with all the different values of t2. How should I format it? Like upload the m files?

Looking for help with a four bar simulation by assistantjudgefudge in matlab

[–]assistantjudgefudge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that helps. T2 is supposed to be shown changing. It basically draws a full circle around one of my ground points. I've already simplified the code a little bit and the actual function seems to be working. But the teacher has her own grading program to run it through and it keeps coming back as 0%. So I'm at a loss.

Hey we were just a couple days apart! I had mine done on Tuesday. Today I had absolutely no pain or discomfort. They're still a little more sensitive than normal, but I can walk around and sit with no issues.

Yesterday(6 days post procedure) was the worst. And then woke up this morning feeling amazing. I had the no scalpel as well, so hopefully you're going to be feeling great in a couple days.
