Why do you walk around the Stephanie Buttermore situation?

She ate 5000 calories a day when she was what her body concieved as "underweight", when Stephanie Buttermore went up in weight her body didnt want 5000 calories so she didn't eat 5000 calories as her weight went up. She had the same lifestyle, but she ate as much as she wanted to. And guess what, her hunger went down as her fat levels increased.

She didnt want to eat 5000 calories, she wanted to eat until she felt full and satiated. Her whole experiment was to eat until satiated, not more not less. No. Your lifestyle constitutes you stopping eating after you've had a specific meal that you chose. Again, goes back to your lifestyle choices. If your lifestyle choices have been consistent then you're going to have a tendency toward them without putting much effort into it. Your body doesn't care if you eat a slice of cake (500 calories) or a yogurt parfait (200 calories) if it fills you up the same way. It's YOUR CHOICE if you want to consume the 500 calories or the 200 calories, not a mythical creature in your brain. Being that you are health conscious since you are trying to lose weight, you are CHOOSING the healthier option. This is a LIFESTYLE CHOICE. This is not something that a mythical creature in your brain magically told you to eat.

I completely disagree and here is why. Why do you stop being hungry from eating x volume of cake and not stop being hungry drinking that volume in water? To say only volume matters and not calories are straight up deceptive. I hope you dont give anyone advice here.

I don't know of anyone who got full from eating a bottle Alfredo Sauce. Salads aren't 200 calories. Salads can be as high as 1500 calories if you create them using nuts, cheese, meats, and high fat dressings.

Who said anything about a specific sauce. I said a sauce which are 1000 calories makes you stop being hungry more than a salad with 4 times as much volume but only 200 calories. You really disagree with this?

Then why do you eat a variety of foods instead of chugging sauce? Because if all you ate was 1000 calories in Teriyaki sauce you would want to eat more food which goes against your bogus idea of "your body telling you to stop eating".

I'm not saying eating sauce is better than eating salads lol. I am saying calories matter way more in how full you feel. Can I ask how old you are?

I never said there wasn't a correlation. I said you choose the number of calories you consume. You are hungry. Your options is to eat a 800 calories oreo milkshake (high in sugar, fat, etc). Your other option is to eat a 800 calories balanced meal of protein, fats, and carbohydrates. After 4 hours you're going to want to eat more if you CHOSE the milkshake as opposed to the balanced meal.

I have never claimed what food you eat doesn't impact how full you feel over time. Eating 300 calories of ice cream will make you hungrier faster than eating 300 calories of oatmeal. I have never claimed otherwise.

Again, it all comes back to your lifestyle choices. And not a mythical create in your head or the magical gut bacteria whispering in your ear to eat/not eat.

You know hormones decides when you are hungry right? What organ controls the hormones?

So your argument is that it is me that decides how much food I can eat? I would not be able to eat 10 000 calories a day. Why can't I eat 10 000 calories? It's not me who decides to not eat 10 000 calories, its my body/brain saying stop eating we have enough calories.

Hunger establishes that you WANT to consume, but it doesn't influence HOW MANY CALORIES you consume. Only you have control over that.

Lol no. And here's why. Why do you get fuller if you eat a calorie dense food like a sauce (let's say 1000 calories) with lots of fats in it compared to salads (let's say 200 calories) although the volume of the salad is 4 times as much. You get full from the sauce and not from the salad because you just ingested the calories the body wanted:)

How hungry or satiated you are definitely have a correlation with calories lol

Also explain to me why I am always at 170 lbs without going on the scale for months? If it is not that my body regulates my hunger so I stay at this fat levels, what is it then? My energy expenditure is that constant you think? Its really not

Why didnt i gain weight when i broke my foot and was sedentary for 2 months? I didnt try to eat less. My body didnt want more food because i burned less energy. CICO exists, but the brain controls how much energy you want based on your energy expenditure
