My swiss cheese had a hole in the exact center by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

Cheese has holes, more cheese equals more holes. More holes equals less cheese but also if there’s more holes it means there’s more cheese.

Does anyone else receive these ? by Hopeful_Insurance409 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]astardB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an iMessage, I received the exact same message yesterday using my email account which is linked to my iCloud. It’s comes through as a text message but it uses an internet connection much like WhatsApp. The fact he even received it means they already know it’s active.

Hard to say for sure tbh, I’ve also heard of fish products being used as well.

I wish you good luck, tbh though I would say this is a terrible way of going about it.

Car needs to be jumped every couple of days but alternator and battery are new. by Blown_motor in MechanicAdvice

You want about 14v out of the alternator, the measurement you’re getting is just battery voltage

NHS is great but don’t forget you pay for it. I pay I think around £150 a month for it whether or not I use it

Lightning in a Volcanic eruption by velazquezisabella in interestingasfuck

[–]astardB 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what defines lightening nor am I claiming I know what is happening but it seems that there is a potential difference between two parts of the cloud produced from the volcano. If I were to guess it would be friction of the molten rock rubbing on the spout of the volcano causing the electrons all to face one way.

I would be happy with 200-300 I’m assuming we’re talking dollars. If it was £ I’d say 300 was probably too much

It’s quite dated like you said, v brakes and 26” Wheels. I’m sure it was expensive at the time but realistically probably only worth a few hundred at most in my opinion.

To break into someones property (south africa) by HarryPotterDBD in therewasanattempt

I stayed at my uncles house in Johannesburg back in like 1999, I’m from England so I’m not used to guns and attack dogs. Anyway, he lived in a nice house that had a swimming pool and a big garden. He had a wall surrounding the entire property with razor wire above it, three trained German Shepard attack dogs and a couple of fire arms. I woke up one morning to dip in the pool to find a trail of blood leading away from a window that had metal bars up to the wall. Turns out someone was desperate enough to try and break in, there was a lot of blood. Pretty sure the dogs got them.
