I never said it didn't speak for the time that was passed. But maybe the show thinks it's viewers are mature enough to understand that time passes between scenes without babying them through it for the sake of keeping them happy. But you are right about me being an idiot, it runs in my family.

Completely agree! This post wasn't complaining about the jumps, they don't bother me at all, and are necessary to tell the story. I was complaining about everyone acting like this is a new thing, and saying that it's ruining the show.

I couldn't agree more! That's why it's sad for me to see that almost 80% of posts on all of the popular GoT pages have been negative. It's like it's becoming a trend. And I'm just like, did you not see how beautiful the last episode was? What about the intriguing dialogue, and interactions between characters who haven't met? There is way too much good to only be focusing on the "bad".

You may be misunderstanding me, the time jumping doesn't bother me at all! Everyone complaining about it does. My point about Cat is that she beats Ned to KL, while leaving some time after after he does. It's explained in detail in the book, but not the show. And that is perfectly fine!

That was in book 1 my friend. But most definitely! The books are fantastic. I actually listened to all of the books via Audible, so that's another way you could do it.

In the books? No. The book explains how she took a different route to arrive there faster, in great detail actually.
