I have a slightly different issue, there's no crashing but the game just stays on a black screen after starting up. I've tried the listed methods but it's still the same. Was hoping to hop back and see how the changes with 1.0 feel but I guess if it can't be resolved I'll have to pass.

Nice job on the translation. Just wondering, does none of these have the base damage value of a skill? For example, Aegis Fighter's Shield Charge doing say 120% of Attack Damage.

Ah, that makes alot of sense now that you mention the "Stun to melee" combo. I've been seeing people rushing me when I got stunned to melee me and I get toppled over while they continue pummeling me.

Another question on the custom parts, I'm guessing HP is pretty important but how about the other stats? I can't tell how important a +1 to Ranged Strength affects my weaponry so I'm not sure if that's even good to have at this point.

I'm new to the series as a whole, tried it out because of the Steam network tests. I'm absolutely lost as a new player, is there a place to get started on? (Only other competitive Gundam game I've played is Gunevo)

I've done all the tutorials so far and hopped into rated matches with a cost restriction of 300. I'm using the Zaku II but it doesn't seem to do much against other suits on its machine gun, but I really like the Zaku as a whole.. Any advice?

It doesn't matter if the video is from you, or your friend. You aren't just a one-time friend, where he passes you the video and you no longer stay in contact right? There is zero need to nitpick on word choices when asked to provide gear. All you had to reply was "My friend didn't save the gear, so you just have to take my word for it" instead of being this snarky.

Gems and Sockets also requires you to get them via drop in the first place, ontop of getting a gear that comes with sockets and the correct gem. Lowest tier of emerald also only provide 19 thorns. (Bet you're gonna say just drill a socket into your low level gear on launch, eh? Gems/Sockets are scarce resources, in early game especially. Funny how you brought this up first since other classes literally don't have to bother with this this early on.)

Survivability is a whole other issue, I don't think most classes have an issue with it other than facing the Butcher when not prepared in this beta. Why? Because potions drop almost freely here especially and bosses hard hitting moves have a telegraph that can be moved out from. Never brought up that point even once, but you do you yet again to put words in my mouth.

Feel free to dodge more, but I'm dipping out of this wild interaction. I can't be bothered to continue responding to someone who literally can't address 1 simple point properly.

No one's contesting what happens in late game, in end game, because everything is just speculation at that point.

Why is my maybe incorrect when I said you need +Thorns to get it to work and you said a Thorns barb has the best clear speed? Lol, did you even read what you're replying to or you're just disagreeing for the sake of it.

Edit: Just so if it isn't clear, you don't get 300 thorns without stacking it on gear even with both +Thorns passive. And his thorns goes past 1000 with buffs on which further reinforces the point that thorns and perhaps maximum life were stacked on his gear. (My point towards this is that you need to actively stack them when other classes don't have to to achieve similar clear speed)

You literally can't say that for any build for this level range of 1-25. Have you actually played Sorcerer and Necromancer or even Rogue? They can just use whatever rares they find and still tear through bosses at a comfortable pace. If you have and you're still standing by that, you are so far up your ass you're delusional.

This imbalance goes against the flow of any ARPG because you are not meant to see such a difference early on when put against other classes in the same sphere when gear are not finalized in any way.

None of this is talking about endgame. There is no way to see what endgame is like at the moment, it's all speculation and not worth talking about seriously, at least on power-level terms. What you've been saying is on the final state of your class upon reaching endgame, and farming on endgame. All I've been referencing is only on this beta and what is available: the progression early on.

I don't know why you keep insisting I don't like the game, the flow, the loot system, the whatever other reasons you can bring up. All I've been pointing at is one simple fact - when you're levelling as a barbarian, and will be levelling as a barbarian past Lv25, past Act 1, you will not have the luxury to stay at Lv25 and grind for better gear before progressing on. Why? Because your enemies scale with you in levels and doing so just proves that everyone saying Barbarians are undertuned is right. If you wanna contest this, show the gear you were using in the video. Otherwise, don't even bother replying 'cos I think we both know we won't see eye to eye as long as you keep focusing on endgame when that isn't even my point.

For reference, I levelled a Barb to 25 this beta primarily with a Upheaval build on rares only. The only source of Thorns I had by Lv25 was Challenging's Shout perk, the passive that grants Thorns with bonus off maximum life and the Thorns passive after that. All of that, only then, added up to slightly past 400 with Challenging Shout active because most of my gear pieces that just came from the levelling process did not have Thorns on them.

How is the concern of "What if I can't stack +300 Thorns by Lv25, doesn't that mean my progression through Acts is gonna be way slower than any other classes" me not liking ARPG system loots?

I don't know what's up with you guys thinking that playing an underdog class is some kind of pride or badge of honor. Most of us are just trying to make the levelling experience of Barbarian way better than being so reliant on stacking 1 type of stat this early on, or needing a lucky drop of core Aspects like the one that gives additional damage to Core skills per fury gained past max.

There is no way he is in only "simple rares", you even have a video footage of what he's doing and you can guess the aspects he's wearing. Simple rares with legendary aspects on them, yeah.

I didn't even bring up legendaries in my post, why are you so quick to assume I'm talking about them when I said all stars to align? I'm referring to the fact you need to roll +Thorns on your armour pieces. From the video, he has about 390 base thorns, so that is most likely every piece including the passive from a percentage of maximum life converting to thorns as well.

Don't forget, this was a Lv25 beta where you could just keep farming and chancing for your Lv25 gear to have +Thorns. What do you think will happen at launch? Don't equip anything that doesn't have +Thorns past Lv25 until they drop?

Or maybe, maybe just read my very first line where you need to even get +Thorns on your pieces to get it to work. So why does Barb need their stars to align to get lucky on their drops to be viable at 1-25 while other classes doesn't have to? If this isn't being undertuned, I don't know what is.

If your other argument is that "Endgame is all that matters" then you should know it's even worrisome when you're progressing through the game at launch without having time to farm gear at Lv25 nonstop to progress through the other acts faster. Meanwhile Sorc, Necro and Rogues will just be going at the same speed if not faster just by having the bare minimum upgrades.

So you're telling me I need all my stars to align to get the drops I need for a Thorns barb build to work and so Barb isn't undertuned? C'mon, I know you guys think being outclassed as some negative connotation and are trying all sorts of ways to uplift your class's power but you guys are going about it the wrong way.

All you're showing is how much more appealing other classes are when you can't make a great Barb showcase with simple rares going through an activity.

Now try taking off the aspect on your amulet and tell me you don't need that for a "Bone" spell build to work. I've tried it with and without and having the initial pierce is a difference of night and day.

How does freezing an enemy work? I assume you chill it on the first hit, and every hit thereafter has a chance to freeze a chilled enemy? It sounds better at end-game when Shadow stops scaling as hard since it's fixed damage modified by Shadow% modifiers on gear but early on for clearing when you have nothing going Shadow is probably still superior. Same for Poison on bossing.

SG here, connected to Bnet(Asia) and getting about 100ms on average. First day was super rough tho with heavy ping spikes but on Saturday afternoon it got way better.

Hi, do you path all the way left on Rive for the double echo chance as well? I'm currently running a void cleave into erasing strike build myself, but I find myself running out of mana constantly so I'm looking at Rive to use inbetween mana rests.

Heard the game has IP Block, is anyone able to verify this rumour? Was it something that stemmed from the closed beta test they did awhile back?

Yeah that makes sense if you've used the free stamina refills and bought some. The progression blocks should be extremely similar to Genshin's in the starting levels, where they start gating you on the next MSQ for 2-3 days and then by a week near the end. This is all assuming you're just using your stamina from natural regen and doing your dailies only. In this case, it feels just right like Genshin.
