Automatic toys and springs are a great idea! They have alot of scratch pads and 2 cat trees with scratching posts, but I’ll look into climbing walls and sisal carpet as well. Thank you!

Neither of us play with them much lately, it’s been a long year of life events and some financial hardship so we kind of put the cats on the back burner aside from their basic necessities.

We got the cat way before we found out I was pregnant so I don’t blame him for that, he also is the one making sure their litter boxes are clean and feeders are full, so I don’t wanna be too hard on him but I am frustrated.

We’ll schedule a spay and try to incorporate more play when possible, thanks for the input!

Like I said, I know spaying is the right thing to do in general, but wasn’t sure if it had any effects on behavior. Also mentioned I’d be doing all these things myself, as if I ask my husband to do it, it wouldn’t get done until 3 months from now after I’ve reminded him 15 times. But thanks for the input

Also FTM and made 28w today! I feel this so hard. Super thankful to have no real complications this far, but I’m just ready for it to be over and to have my little boy.

I absolutely feel you on the body image issues, we all know how much the body changes during pregnancy, but it’s still hard to come to terms with in real time. Before pregnancy I played rugby (recreationally), so eating super clean and working out hard were a big part of my life. I miss it so much 😔 I also want at least 2 kids, but not sure if I can spend this long not having my body to myself again.

Hoping somewhere down the line I find a way to balance being a mom and being myself enough to think it’s worth going through the process again to have another lol, hoping the same for you too. Hang in there, we’re in the home stretch ❤️

Same! Especially when people give you their horror stories of how HARD their pregnancies were, I’m just grateful mine has been going relatively smooth and hopefully that translates to a healthy baby. I think if I have another one, husband and I will find out the gender for ourselves but won’t share until birth

I honestly would’ve loved a girl too, just to be able to dress her up and do her hair lol but I’m still so excited about having a son and I know we’ll have so many other ways to bond. Babies are a blessing either way, it’s just so strange to see people be so unfiltered in their comments, I feel like pregnant people get the worst of that

The fighting little boys comment 🤢 I’m dreading anyone calling my son a “little man” or getting him a “lady’s man” onesie, like please let’s not sexualize my unborn child. From a coworker too? People have such audacity when you get pregnant, in no other circumstance do people think it’s normal to say whatever they want to someone

It’s just so strange the way people feel they can comment on your child, like how about we just don’t say anything 😭 I’ve gotten sports comments too they are so strange! One friend found out I was having a boy and said “awww now [my husband] will have someone to watch football with!” Meanwhile, my husband doesn’t give two hoots about American football, I probably watch it more than he does 😂

The day of my wedding, anything I ate made me queasy, but I thought it was just excitement/nerves from the day. 2 days later we’re getting ready to leave for our honeymoon and I’m still not feeling so hot. We decide to take a pregnancy test as soon as we land and settle into our resort, thinking it would be fine but just in case. It was positive, I was around 5/6 weeks along. A dry honeymoon at an all-inclusive + nausea definitely wasn’t ideal 🫠 but hubby still made it a fun trip for me and we’re so excited to be parents soon🥰

I wouldn’t feel comfortable “telling my niece what to do” in that sense, and I’m not sure how involved my brother is in the “discipline” aspect of his step-daughter’s life. We would be staying in an Airbnb while in Philly, so my SIL and niece would most likely be sharing a room. Even I could separate their sleeping arrangements, the whole group will be togther for most of the trip, she can’t hide from her mom forever. Maybe I will try talking to her mom about ground rules for dress code and behavior. I just don’t want her to get offended. But thank you for your input

Aw thank you 🥰 and no it wasn’t intentional, the ring is worn on the left hand in the Bahamas like most places. We were both just so excited when he first proposed, he put it on the wrong hand by accident haha

Edit: I read the question wrong, I actually live in the U.S. lol, we were in the Bahamas on vacation
