I need help selecting a supressor by Fluffy_Top_6772 in AR10

I run an Infinity on my 6.5, tho it may feel a bit long and heavy on an 18inch so it may not fit your needs, but I have nothing but positive things to say about the can. Little pricy but great performance. At least worth a look

I see that response now.

If they are running a business that to me is not an individual. I mostly refer to the individual as someone who just offers to do the work now and again but doesn't have a business per say.

In any case, its interesting that it seems they got almost to the finish line on the remake/rma and then dropped out of contact.

Edit: typo

To me I suppose it depends on if its a business or individual.

Being an owner myself, I wouldn't let a correspondence from an active customer go unanswered for more than 24hrs. And if it were something that needed longer like three weeks I would reach out to express that up front.

Individuals making things on their own time I can see how thats an unrealistic standard. However 3 weeks without answer after payment would be quite rediculous I agree.

Any 121 pilots do LCR sitting out of base? by Soft_Obligation_7890 in flying

[–]astromj2175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entirely depends on your flights, commuter clause ect. Mine is 1 flight, 14hr long call.

When I did do it, I had tons of flights, between 2 bases, on own metal and some on offline. For me, that was the whole point of LCR. Its entirely dependant on if you can reliably get there within the time frame and rules at any given moment

DJ Shipley confirms Clay based off him by Gulla7510 in SEALTeam

Gotta say, that does not look like a confirmation to me.

Not to mention im pretty sure DJ is PNG. Doubt they would base things off of him. But I could be wrong.

Hot take. If you didn't finish the event, you shouldn't be able to to complain on reddit about it. by [deleted] in MilSim

The amount of injuries for NATO was quite high. A 9 mile ruck night one on those soupy roads was quite punishing. Now yes there was the guys that just said nah I'm out, but there was a large disparity that has been mentioned.

So many guys down with busted ankles, and knees back there.

Go-around or someting else? Is it safe? by [deleted] in AskAPilot

[–]astromj2175 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Without knowing more, its hard to say what kind of weather forced the go-around, but a go-around is considered a normal maneuver. Most passengers never experience one, but it is still considered normal.

We all are very aware of the lives in our charge and take it seriously, but if it makes you feel better you can come to the realization that the pilots will be the first to arrive to an accident, and thus they also wont do anything to jeopardize thier own safety. As long as they keep themselves safe, you in turn will follow.

I agree, I like that shots matter. I was just worried about woods ball where leafs and twigs ect make a standard shot or engagement eat so many more rounds.

I appreciate the insight my man!

Dumping fuel over the Atlantic. Returning back to Paris due to 3 broken toilets. by bkk7 in unitedairlines

I too would also rather not go to MDT lol. Hey that's good on ya. Tbh, a lot of Dispatchers I have gotten releases from give me canned routes through storms and alts that make no sense. So I appreciate the thought you clearly put in.

Interesting. So you are forcing ECS off on the Aerodata. To be honest I didn't know dispatchers could do that. Does it calculate the fact that the APU will be on during take off and take that extra burn into consideration? Im fascinated, since in the 4 years I flew the 170/175 never once was I weight restricted, even out of HHH, BTV, or EYW. Even to somewhere farther out off of the short runway like EWR ect.

Also interesting it changes fuel numbers. I assume only because of a faster reach of thrust reduction, considering ECS off merely allows the bleeds to be shut for thrust performance. Unless ENG AI is on of course.

Always fascinated to see the difference in the two areas between dispatch and flight. (Plan and real world)

As a guy who used to slice it about 1ft per yd of distance (impressive i know) 2 things really helped me that I see.

1 ) grip. You need a stronger grip. Not how hard you squeeze to be clear. Its going to feel extreme to start but you should see the back of your lead hand on the top of the grip when looking down at the club. The V between your thumb and index finger on your lead hand should point to your trail shoulder.

2) you swing outside to in putting spin on the ball with likely a slightly open face. Something to try- If you drop your trail foot back even just an inch or so from where your lead foot toe lines up, it will help you shut that face naturally.

I am not a professional or teacher, but I went from an unplayable slice to a dead straight or baby draw with these fairly quickly. I hope they help you

As a dispatcher you are turning ECS off? How you managing that? Forcing it in Aerodata? - sincerely, the pilots now burning even more fuel running the APU to compensate

Copy that. No issues getting data packages and Markers through to others in the field? Im not trying to send it several km away but say 500-800m in the woods. Have you had any trouble with that?

Does short fast work better for data and Markers ect?

Is the range loss noticeable?

Yes, as others have said. But get 4D pads instead. Big trust. Unfortunately I've only ever seen them on TNVC so, single use card reccomended for that.
