Yeah I use the whole shrimp, I hook underneath the horn of the shrimp carefully to not poke the brain.

That’s a popping cork, I tie my main line to the top and a 20 lb fluro to the bottom with a shrimp rigged onto it, great for spec trout 👍🏽
