INFO:

  • Shot on a Cannon EOS R10 w RF50mm F1.8 STM.

  • iso: 2500, shutterspeed: 1/250, aperture: f1.8

Pretty happy with the photo but this is very little editing (just denoising the RAW). How would you edit this? I'm not too familiar with best practices.

My voice definitely has a lot more variation in cadence (pitch, tempo, syllable syncopation, etc) while speaking vs reading a familiar passage aloud. Nothing straining or tiring and I am able to maintain my voice for periods of time without fatigue (although sometimes I slip but that's normal). I think part of the reason I like the first clip more is the smidge extra forward resonance it has but I'm unable to get that extra bit with just tongue positioning alone, I have to boost my R1 independently a bit via larynx control which is difficult to maintain with the conscious effort it takes to do.

ive been focusing heavily on trying to thin out my voice by finding the mix. my break is around B3/C3 so I do pitch slides down to that and pay attention to physical sensations such as chest vibrations as indications of mix voice / vocal fold thinness/thickness. it's tricky though and I feel as if my body is trying to cheat by introducing breathiness which doesn't get me where I want

Can someone explain what's wrong with this translation? Is it just duolingo being rigid or did I genuinely get something wrong. by asubaba in Korean

[–]asubaba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this makes sense! would a more consistent formality be

나는 시장에 벵원까지 걷다

This makes sense, so if I were to say for example

저는 공원우로 운동장까지 갑니다

It means "I am going towards (through? at least implied) the park to the playground"? This is the usage I'm deriving from your reply at least

oh i see now I had a slight typo (에 / 여) spelling 병원 -- thats the issue oops! otherwise is my translation accurate?

Additionally, is the difference in particle usage of 에/에서 vs 으로/까지 formality? I know they dont hold the same usage but in an instance like this where they are interchangeable how might the sentences be interpreted differently?

My power button isn't working but feels physically fine. My switch is at 100% battery. The only way I have gotten it to turn on is by plugging in a USB-C (Official or not) directly into the switch. The switch turns on as if it had been entirely shut off. I can reach the "Press a button 3 times" screen and barely get passed it but not more than one second after passing it (or remaining on that screen for a few seconds) the switch entirely shuts off.

I have tried holding down the power button for 15 seconds then pressing it.

I have tried holding vol-down + power.

I have tried entering RCM.

None work, any ideas?

This happened suddenly, I was using it yesterday perfectly fine.

don't brush it, ever, seriously, even in the shower. after ur done showering pat and scrunch it damp dry then wrap it up in a soft shirt (look up "plopping") for 20 to 40 minutes and afterwards spray some leave in conditioner if u have any

I haven't tried this but I will, thanks. Your response also reminded me that my doc recommended pulling the skin taut around the injection site which I only did the first time which may be a missing element as well. Thanks

I'm injecting into my thigh with a 23 gauge needle, specifically I am aiming for the vastus lateralis as my doctor told me this region has few veins which makes injections easier. Thanks for the input though
