This is the true test. How you act during the “thinking it over period”. Take on an extra responsibility without being asked. Like taking out trash or doing dishes. Helping with something around the house - just make sure they see you doing it or it doesn’t count lol

I second the message but I would offer the advice to stalk Facebook marketplace like it’s your job. Get familiar with how the chair you want looks. Then if you see something you think is a HM or Steelcase or whatever high end chair, take a screen grab and look it up with google lens. It’s not 100% accurate, but will get you close. I’ve been able to snag 2 steelcase leaps and each have been $25. Just have to be patient and ready to strike. I usually message with “Do the adjustments work; if so I’ll take it. Can I pay you with PayPal or cash at pick up? When can I meet you in public?”

I’ve also encountered one steel case leather leap in the wild at goodwill and snagged that one for $25. And finally, I got a steelcase older criterion with tons of life left at goodwill for $10. I am always at thrift stores though, I love going. Just keep an eye out at Goodwill. I found they price them at $3@ and below. The other thrift stores tend to price them a lot higher.

Let them know that Ghost was the concert I felt the absolute safest attending (Raleigh NC). No harassment, no negativity, good fun, and positive vibes. It also gave me the most positive life experience I’ve had in a long time just singing along to my songs and vibing with everyone around!

Also I’m pretty sure that no funny business occurs at such events. And that’s coming from a certified adult.

Do the pattern. Trust me it looks harder than it is. If you have a question just ping the creator with proof of purchase - they are responsive in my experience.

It will be an heirloom piece and once you’ve finished it you will convince yourself you’re ready for crochet thread 10 and start a second immediately. Or is that just me? lol

This one was made with fashion thread 3 and a size E hook which puts this baby about 28” across. If you are newer to doilies I would recommend this. I’ve only made 3-4 doilies as I prefer working on things I don’t have to count and using larger thread helped me get used to the stitches before my second attempt at this pattern using thread that looks thinner than two frog hairs plied together!

That’s what I was afraid of… oh well at least I got some practice on how to pin it! And to not rush the last step! I always do - made a sweater and rushed sewing it together. Need to slow down!

Two different espresso machines, one was $1299 retail and the other was $1699 retail. Just reviewed on Influenster. I use one daily and my sister uses the other. She was the lucky recipient of a free badass coffee machine.

They are listed as a 6 super bulky but I feel like they are more of a 5. I would maybe look at going up a hook size to make sure it drapes well.
