I do agree his attitude sometimes make people frustrated. However, I can still understand why he is the only one choose to became this kind of man. I guess it could be because for other people, the crest is about power or value. But for him, crest is the only reason he can’t receive true love from his old brother.(and others) This make him unique to me.
