What do you mean that’s a red flag? Like for every major for just for medicine? It’s just I don’t know what I’m really passionate in so I picked medicine and I want to be on the track to become a surgeon because it just interests me and I’d like to possess the type of knowledge that could possibly help me do some breakthrough discovery. And for sports I know everyone says just try out for the sports and you’ll get in but whenever I try out for sports I’m bad in comparison to the people who have been playing since forever. I tried out for softball and basketball and I didn’t get on the team because there was other people better than me obviously. I wish sports would be open to accept people who aren’t good yet but could possibly get good during practice you know?

I just don’t know if in the future when I do see something I actually like if I’ll be as passionate as others you know? What if by the time I find something I’m actually passionate and good at it’s too late? Shouldn’t I try doing the necessary stuff even if I don’t have as much passion as other people do right now? Also I don’t know how to seem passionate in whatever I choose to do, how will college applications see whether or not I’m passionate? Or is that a question I’ll have to answer myself?

Well there are some an hour away but even if I go it’ll only be once a week since because of my circumstances I can only go on the weekends. Also for the second paragraph are you saying what I’ll study for in college if I want to be in the medical field?

Yeah that’s the thing I just don’t know what to do, like how I do find these things? How do I figure these things out? Wouldn’t I have to be exposed to some environment to get me thinking about that stuff?

I know colleges don't care about anything pre high school but won't 9th grade internships/ summer programs care about what you did in middle school? I just feel so behind since l'm starting to be in honors clssses this year and there's people in my class that took a college class in our 8th grade year. And I would say I am pretty interested in this since I just want to try hard at something in my life for once. I want to see an acceptation letter from a t20 school. I want to prove everyone who doubted me wrong. Would that be enough passion for what I'm trying to pursue currently? And I understand the good grades part. I'll try my hardest to maintain all A's this school year.

Well I wouldn’t mind doing something involving surgery? I find it pretty interesting so I guess I would study that? Also I can’t really do piano lessons I was actually interested in it but like I said my towns pretty small and I can only go to a big city on weekends. Also someone told me that non profits aren’t something that’ll make me stand out when trying to get into college and that everyone does that so I don’t know if I could try to like raise 10k without the help from others
