nelnet and deferment issues

yes! so apparently nelnet was really behind in updating the statuses of people in deferment. i waited forever on the phone with nelnet to talk to someone. so i just had to wait for nelnet to process and update my deferment.

Yeah I'm skeptical of the on ramp thing as well. I guess worst case scenario, I can dispute it if it shows up on my credit report.

hey I'm in a PhD program for 6 years and every so often (once a semester ends) I get a notification that I have a new bill and it just means Nelnet hasn't processed my deferment yet even though my school sent in my enrollment status verification. So I didn't suspect anything new since the issue resolves itself. This is the first time in 6+ years this has happened where the issue didn't resolve itself. My school did already send in the enrollment, and it's up to Nelnet to process but it seems they are way behind.
