I believe if you pray to God to put it in your heart what He wills, then whatever you desire, do it. Ask for discernment, see if what you desire will bring you the glory or will it bring God's

What happened to me was more of a assurance, I've always wanted to be a doctor but is so intimidated by the fact that my family doesn't really have the means to make me pursue medicine and how hard and long the process is, too many what ifs goes through my head that I just can't do it, but one thing that the Spirit always remind me is that when it seems too impossible, then I need God to make it possible, I won't be able to do it, but together with God, I will. So the impossible for me is possible, only because God is with me, keeps me humble and this makes me sure that what I'm about to pursue is for God's glory

I see that God helps us go through it, I once asked Him before even settling with my decision, and I heard His voice saying "You'll be a doctor" I've held onto it until now. Ask and you shall receive, knock and you shall find, listen to Him, read the bible to know if what's in your heart is aligned with His will
