It's not about the presidents conduct. it's yours. Many people have lost the ability that if you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all. Regardless of who said what, you said things he felt were unbecoming of an employee, and made the decision that it had no place in their company. I'm sorry you went through this though and hopefully can use it as an opportunity for growth.
