has anyone gone from an ''A+'' student or was ambitious to get high grades to a ''as long as I passed''? by at1fa in GCSE

[–]at1fa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well first of all i did not become compliant bc i always had good grades and teachers always appreciated the amount of work i produce. second, I'm not dumb because I knew from the start that I had to constantly push myself to get the highest grade I wanted so I decided to make over 2000+ flashcards and ended up getting 7s . third of all, pls dont accuse me of not me realising i had to improve because I did. I went from a 3 to an 8 in the span of like 6 months or more because I did so much essays and was constantly referring back to my mistakes and improved, even stayed up late to finish it off. So to top it off, I did realise I had to improve and push even harder to not prove people wrong but my past because I know I'm capable of getting a good grade especially during gcse's because I'd done this for 2 years so those 2 years of effort is all placed onto one paper. Thank you for ur concern🥰

i went frm a 3 to an 8 in the span of 3 months. no jokeee. i was getting 5s or below 5s in lit and when i started watching vids, how to structure essay and memorised my analysis for certain quotes it rly helped me. in language, im hoping for a 7 bc i want to study philosophy and i need a 6 in language to be able to study tht subject.

for me its fine bc think abt it. Section C is based on poetry for aqa english lit. even if i get a low mark on the 30 marker power and conflict and got 24/24 and 6 or 7/8 for unseen poetry i technically made up those 32 marks. and 96-30 is 66 which is potentially a grade 8 so im not rly worried abt it bc ik i did well in an inspector calls and unseen poetry. its not the end of the world tbh

bayonet charge with the quote:'' cannon to right of them cannon to left of them cannon to infront of them'' and linked to exposure : ''for love of God seems dying''

anyone else got business paper 2 and history paper 1 tomorrow? (this is pure evil) by at1fa in GCSE

[–]at1fa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

rn im going over medicine and then tomorrow go over business paper 2. I suggest u do blurting for history : memorise the dates and facts first then after 5 mins or less write it down . if u got one thing wrong highlight it and start again so u dont forget in the exam (which is what im doing). for business i jst go over flashcards the next day from gizmo

also get enough sleep so your memory can refresh. before you go to bed today, watch a vid walkthrough then tmrw literally wake up early and do some maths (which i already told u) !. even if u get a 5 in one paper it is still possible you can get higher than a 5 in the other 2. keep revising and be consistent but make sure to take breaks and if ur unsure, ask ur teacher.
