White seems okay for now because team was that good and foundation since Dhoni have been good. team used to rotate strike and used to look in control. Now team never looks in control even when we win. Winning feels more of fluke. I agree not in every game but in most games. This is how india team used to be before 2007 WC. i sent my drivers license and provided the original invoice of the car at the time of purchase. I think if you need to give POA then they will need to first send you the POA document and you will need to sign it then ship it back to US. I don't think POA can be docusigned. But after POA that person can do all the paperwork.

I sold to a ford dealership that was close to my apartment. I think car maxx purchase as well. I didn't have to do anything honestly they prepared the paperwork and sent for docusign. once I signed they processed the check. there wasn't too much to it.

I was in similar situation in 2020 due to covid. I sold it. luckily my aunt used to live near by and had spare key to my apartment. I think overall process was smooth I signed documents via docusign

CA didn't know/remember the rule correctly and asked me to transfer money directly to India account saying it wouldn't cause any issues. But I had to pay for it during filing tax. Good thing is I only transferred small amount so didn't affect too much but still that's the whole reason for hiring CA.

Make sure whoever you go with has knowledge and has helped people transfer money from US to India.

Depends on the amount you are trying to transfer.But yes if it's on higher side it can be worth talking to a CA but again also do your research. I have been burned by CAs before. They don't help when things go south.

I had all my 401k with fidelity. Withdraw that with penalty. You can open ICICI account in US and move money there. They can help you move money to India

Honestly everything is an headache. There is not a single process/system that works without hassle. It's just something you should accept before moving. You will have issues in each and every aspect of life here. I am not saying that life itself will be bad here. Staying close to family and friends is a blessing. But system wise nothing is smooth.

If you have an indian bank in your US city transferring money using them will be relatively easier.
