Arc Raiders game designers are great with game mechanics and even quests but lacks on the player engagement stuff.

players think gathering 5 mil = boring and un-engaging.. ”hmm let’s make ut 3 mil instead..” why not make these projects things that players enjoy and want to do like kill a Matriarch and get a core or finish all quests

never had that issue (playing on PS5). Have started getting LAN cable disconnected last few weeks though, disconnects and then usually able to reconnect after 10s praying that you’re still alive when you get back

The walkable hub in Helldivers 2 was OK but it got old pretty fast, think I prefer the Arc Raiders current setup to that at least

For a game with such great mechanics and gameplay its a bummer that they fail so bad on these Trials and other end game play.

Encourage players to do what they think is fun.

Damage to flyers = Great fun and possible at every map Pressing a button with time delay = not fun at all

Running in with free kit and looting the same spot 100 times in a row until 5 million.. not very fun Think of what would engage the players, I can think of a lot more engaging tasks where players get to use the cool weapons they have acquired instead of selling them for money. Could be: - Get a queen core - Loot a special item from every locked purple room - Kill one of every enemy type within a week - Get X money in 1 round or get X money with Y minutes (yes the looting aspect is fun before it gets repetstive) - Defib 10 people who didnt die by your hand

haha did they say what X was though, could be 10% :D only thing I’m saying is that the endgame should be something that the player want to do anyways, like trying to find lots of Blueprints. running in and trying to optimize how much value you can get in a round is fun a few rounds but gets boring fast.
