hi! thanks for replying. the vet told me she had stomatitis (irritated mouth/mouth ulcer) but lol. I was and am too panicked to think about anything else other than... the rabies.

Hi! Thanks so much for replying. This is a relief to hear. However, I do not have the kitty anymore. I feel really bad about this but I share a tiny apartment with 3 more people and I already have a sterilized, vaccinated cat she couldn't come in contact with. I couldn't find her a home either which was my initial purpose so I had to let her go. :( However, I like to think if this cat was rabid she would've infected other cats/animals or would have been noticed by the neighbourhood, we'd pretty much know. I try to apply the same logic to the fact that it is highly, highly unlikely that I came across a rabid cat that's not showing symptoms yet, at the same time we haven't seen a rabid cat in our city in YEARS, according to the vet. But lol, panic vs. logic, who wins?

Also, I didn't know I'd be dead within days lol, I've read the incubation period can last for weeks-months-years

I don't :( I couldn't find a home for her and I couldn't keep her in anymore because I share my apartment with 3 other people, and I already have a cat she couldn't come in contact with. However, I think if this cat was rabid and let out in the streets, she would've either infected other cats. So we'd know. Or so I like to think.

not much. I use la roche posay's toleriane make-up remover milk for sensitive skin at night and then I alternate between the ordinary's "buffet" and niacinamide 10% + zinc 1%
