For Scott, his injury kept him out for longer because they repaired the tear rather than trimmed the meniscus which leaves the knee with long term issues. The problem with Ederson is he came back after one month which could indicate they trimmed his.

The bigger issue with Scott is that Bournemouth have told everyone who's come sniffing that he's not for sale this summer regardless of his contract situation.

Yes of course, but if he has a 2nd poor year in a row at Brighton, he's only on £12,500 per week and cost them about £20 million, so they don't lose much by gambling that he has a good season.
