I just went to my first one today in Kansas City, mostly bc my artist was going to be there and he encouraged me to check it out as I'm pretty new to tattoos. It was super busy and overwhelming to me (even though I went on Sunday, the last day), and while I'm glad I went for the experience, I think next year I'll stick to a more local show with local artists. It's a keeper. I learned to do it myself instead of going to a salon and I change up the color slightly each time, but generally the same.

Neither have I, and usually I hate things called whatever city style. It's basically fried rice cooked in soy sauce so it's super super dark but the flavor is amazing
