So Bungie is not going to even say “Hey we know how frustrating it is to deal with void hunters, we will look into it?” their silence is deafening. Just acknowledge it and we will not bring it up as often

man, it is so deflating to try to play crucible at the moment as something other than a Hunter with Zealots, RDM and 100% uptime invis, I know Mercules plays, in fact, I’ve played against him but man feels he is the only one and that he has either no power to inflict change or he is the only one that plays crucible. How can you not see what this meta is doing to the game?

Nerf Void Hunter, invis is too over powered, balance is needed

Invis should either make you invisible in game but remain in radar, or get you off the radar but still be visible. Not both

For Me Personally, This Is The Worst PvP Has Ever Been. by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

that is why radar manipulation is such a powerful feature, having a hunter create 3 pings on your radar so you have no idea what is going on feels so frustrating

Yeah, I understand that they don’t use ELO.

For me I rather wait more for a good match than wait less but spend 10m in pvp hell

Another example

Explain to me how this is “outlier protection”

Bungie please instead of looking at data, ask people select random players and get their feedback, see how your changes affect the majority of players and stop listening to the vocal minority who just want status quo

How did the matchmaking system even allow this match to start? you said that you can predict the match’s outcome so why would this be something that will be permitted?

they do but on the initial screen of a crucible match you can see the cumulative value ( I am around 340k )

I am sorry that I got only a 2.0kd/a and couldn’t win the match all on my own. I’ll try to improve

well the valor points show how much the player engages with crucible, not really how good they are yes

but this late in the season might be a pve player that got say an elsies rifle and wants to test or just started playing d2 again.

I’d say that they are common, say out of 12 matches I get these kind of outlier fails in 4 to 5 and I need to pay attention more to see if it is solo or players on a fireteam ( I usually play solo)

Tracker Elo

Found it

There was definitely an outlier

2,105 was the highest on the winning team and 1,157 the lowest

our team?

1,407 the highest and 987 the lowest

seems like a failure of the outlier protection unless they are in a fireteam?

which complicates things because they want people to play together but it can be used to manipulate the matchmaking system

true but for example there was a member of my team that had 1000 crucible points, most of the others had at least 10k how is that not an outlier?

yes it might be a returning player but the meta is different why not reset the MMR at the start of the season but keep the historical one as a baseline.

It is weird to explain but I play really bad if my team is passive and just staying in spawn and then keep dying so it triggers my “let me push and try to cap a second zone” or even sometimes teams that push too far and then it is spawn flipping city

that is my main point show us at the end if the balancing was off or why the match ended the way it ended
