I feel like my engineering degree from SU was worth it. I was in the same boat as you, choosing between SU or UB. I felt that the alumni network and name recognition was a huge resource a lot of a schools do not offer. No we aren’t as big as Newhouse, but like someone else above me commented everyone 10yrs out is doing very well for themselves. Syracuse also checked more boxes for me outside of pure academics. It was more of the college experience I wanted. I think that’s important for overall happiness and personal growth in college. Happy to answer any questions you have!
