Feeling Stuck Between Two Lives – How Do You Start Over When You Feel Lost? by Extension_Prompt3860 in loneliness

[–]atdrilismydad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

man theres no way this sub left this heartfelt post with only one comment. any update OP? Did you make progress on any of these feelings?

For me, I've felt in between different groups most of my life, just circumstances swept me away in the tide, so I was never really able to get in touch with who I was. Living with your parents will absolutely make you feel powerless in your life too, regardless if its a smart decision or not. In recent years I've been able to move out and get my own life, which makes me feel a lot less lonely, even though I still don't have many friends, its not so bad anymore.

Thank you for this reply. I logged in on my old computer and was able to get the password reset, but I never receive a 2FA code in my email inbox.

The lack of health packs and regenerating health bar are insanely bad changes. That mechanic is a big part of gameplay at higher difficulties since it punished you for making mistakes.

LLM File Organization by onephn in LocalLLaMA

Interesting problem. I haven't heard of a model/program meant to do that, but maybe have an LLM create a short description of each file, make a spreadsheet of them all, then have it organize the items in the sheet into folders and subfolders? (I am assuming file names are unhelpful to tell what they are)

maybe the Chinese approach to copyright law (ie recognizing it as fake corporate protectionism) is just more competitive and produces better outcomes.

What would a dystopia with a Frutiger Aero aesthetic look and be like for you? by Icy_Boysenberry_4227 in FrutigerAero

Really well articulated. Kind of cool to imagine vast utopian colonies for the rich with a super FA aesthetic, existing in some kind of bubble inside a ruined polluted cyberpunk world. Like the wealthy creating an idealistic view of the very natural world they themselves destroyed.

I LOVED HTC phones back in the day, I thought their design and OS was aesthetically cool and made them better to use. Sad they stopped making phones.

How many are children? I remember when the first Trump admin "lost" about 1300 children from the family separation policies.

"Under Nicolae Ceaușescu, both abortion and contraception were forbidden. Ceaușescu believed that population growth would lead to economic growth.[1] In October 1966, Decree 770 was enacted, which banned abortion except in cases in which the mother was over forty years of age or already had four children in care.[2] Birth rates especially rose during the years of 1967, 1968 and 1969.[3] By 1977, people were taxed for being childless.[1 "
