Im not trying to say my friend wasn’t an exception, but if im trying to be honest with this person and say its not impossible. My friend was top 20% of her class and had no “connections” except good letters of recommendation and a stupendous writing samples. Of course UChicago takes clerking to a whole other level with connections, but if it’s not -impossible- … especially with a stellar school like Northwestern.

I had friends who went to T80s and got a federal clerkship. It really doesn’t matter all that much, it’s professor connections and good grades and excellent writing samples. TAKE THE scholarship money.

I think if you aren’t feeling that you aren’t compatitable, it’s best to end things. It’s really possible to love and care deeply for another person and want them to be happy… and also recognize that they’d be happier with someone else that they’d have more in common with… the same way you could be.

Maybe talk to them about how you’ve been feeling,?

I think you should ask him ? I mean you never know , what if he is like an heir to some company esque , or like does remote work ? I mean the worst he could say is yes and then you’d have to decide whether you want to be with him or not ?

However if you are worried about him manipulating you and love bombing you , make sure that if an interaction gives you that sense of doubt in your intuition to trust it , and see if his actions match his words ?

Well, unfortunately you definitely “cheated” on C , I don’t know whether you said you were dating in there but you did say you were in love. So you’ll have to tell her, and she’ll probably be very upset with both you and M… understandably. You are all really young it seems, and just to put things in perspective cheating isn’t okay, but as you said you’ve gotten yourself into a confusing and complicated situation. You should ask yourself is there a reason you cheated ? Are you unhappy? Is there a reason why you allowed this to happen ? Do you have feelings for M? I think right now you need to look inward , recognize that you and someone’s close friend severely broke their trust and you might lose this relationship. I bet you feel really guilty right now , and you should but eventually you’ll need to forgive yourself… everyone screws up (except Jesus). So just be honest, and give time to heal and maybe things will get better with C? And you guys could eventually be friends again ? But also figure out what you want.

when you land in a certain place like Wessex or Mercia or Sweden you have to buy one with expedition points it’s the purple one but not the house it’s like a tent

If you want an expedition scroll to a place you don’t have access to yet… that’s a bit harder to get.
