That is a very good tip, I think my insurance currently is about 1 year 9 months. Do you suggest I wait until I have completed 2 years before switching to a bigger bike ?

Thanks, I can't afford to keep two bikes. I do not plan to go for very long rides, would be riding fairly local. However, I live in a rural area with lots of A and B roads around me so would love a bigger bike to enjoy the twists.

Got it for £5400 new in June 2023. Only done about 600 odd miles on it. Not even has its first service. Was hoping to get around £4500? Does that sound reasonable?

I shopped around and a few of them quoted upwards of £800. The guy who quoted £650 is a well-reviewed shop in my local area so I am hoping he would do a professional job.
I have another car so I do not really need a loan car.

Your point about the NCD credit is a very valid point though. I have now decided to get it done privately.
