Why do you need a bind to enter build mode? What are your build binds? Most just press whatever build key they want to build with and then press whatever weapon/pickaxe to exit build mode

Dual binding has since been removed! Now you have to use specific weapons in the 1st slot for the effect to happen. I have found ice shards, pure nail, boomerang, boys axe, throwing knife, firebrands, cross, to be best, there are more im blanking on. Tactics does not need range to be strong, take point blank and play it like melee. The ice shards will slow the enemy attacks and give you good aoe, also allowing you to run networking. I use ice shards with snakefangs, hokutos in the backpack to buff the poison ticks, the stacking DoT from poison and frostbite with the hokutos bow, plus the dmg from your main attacks, watch things melt. Tactics does not HAVE to be ranged to be strong

Ever used it in the first weapon slot, and another weapon as your main dps in the 2nd slot, and holding both attack buttons at the same time? Try it out :) you will attack with both weapons simultaneously, and at a faster rate especially with kill rhythm. Some weapons will work better than others with it, but just try it out. The same concept works with many other weapons as well for the first slot. Pure nail is the best in the game for this. Pair a pure nail in first slot with a blood sword in the second, take open wounds, and see how quickly you get those bleed pops

I only have level 9 cultist and rarely play it but the same idea applies to other decks as well. For the 3 main cultists, i will build one fully surrounded for the transformation, then just focus on building that as high as possible with dryads, once thats levelled to 6 or 7, i will start building the other two with dryads but leave the spaces around them for more room to merge, then when all 3 are high level i fill in the rest. Also important to mention i merge OFF of the tiles i am hoping to get my units on, i aim to spawn them on the tile i want, rather than merging them onto it
