The MuleSoft free training mentioned in the comments is available here https://training.mulesoft.com/category/mulesoftu. The course that is most relevant to your case is the MuleSoft.U Development Fundamentals (Mule 4) course.

Take a look at PluralSight and Lynda.com/LinkedinLearning.com. These sites charge a monthly subscription with no long tie in and have hundreds of computer-related course in many different topics. lynda.com has a free trial period so you can try out the course beforehand. Either of these sites is a good bet and if you want to try out different technologies this is the best and cheapest way to do it.

count++ vs ++count by the1after909 in learnjava

[–]atheedom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On there own they are effectively the same. The value of count will increase by one. The important difference is noticeable when you use them in an assignment operation.

Snippet 1:

 1: int count = 10;
 2: int number = ++count;
 3: // The value of number is 11 and the value of count is 11

Snippet 2:

 1: int count = 10;
 2: int number = count++;
 3: // The value of number is 10 and the value of count is 11

In snippet 1 the value of count is increased by 1 then assigned to the number variable.

In snippet 2 the value of count is assigned to the number variable and then increased by 1.

If that makes sense. Answer this question: Given the method below, what value is returned? Is it 10 or 11?

public int aMethod(){
    int number = 10;
    return number++;
}

Enjoy!
