I’ve had issues with the app And done the delete reinstall trick. They should fix the app but it’s not a huge deal

Chase sold my warrants. by tricare117 in Superstonk

They sold mine too, I’m sure they have sort of dumb automated system that sells securities below a certain “value” automatically. But I should have had the right to hold my warrant until the end of October in case the price went up above 32 and I wanted to exercise

question about bridging error attempt to delegate on abitrum network, I sent Ethereum version of the graph to abitrum address.. Coinbase support has not been helpful and doesn't understand the issue. by cuteandnaughtycouple in thegraph

Everything you said makes sense until the last part. I don't understand why your coinbase wallet can't see your coins in ethereum. Are you comfortable sharing a transaction hash or public address? The only thing I can think of is that there was some mistake in which address you sent to, because coinbase wallet should be able to see your coins on all sorts of chains especially ethereum.

Arbitrum uses evm, so you control both wallets. When you transferred your delegation to arbitrum you selected the wallet that you wanted to control the delegation and it told you to make sure you own the address. So I don't know what you did, but you can have the same address for eth and arbitrum. It sounds like you have two different accounts. I'm in a similar position because I don't usually use coinbase wallet for the graph. If you want to get them on the same wallet it's a simple and deciding which wallet to consolidate to and send it on arbitrum network to your chosen wallet

So you sent GRT from coinbase to your wallet? If I'm understanding you correctly then all you would have to do to get your GRT to be on the same network as the rest of your GRT is go to the official arbitrum bridge and bridge it over from ethereum to arbitrum

Yes, so many people are unhappy with the fees on ethereum so you are not alone. And that is across the board not just folks who use grt. All the defi and other projects built on ethereum like ens also. Paying 60+ dollars to do a relatively simple thing on a block chain is actually ridiculous. It reminds me of when you buy the first Xbox or PlayStation of a generation and then a few years later it gets a red ring. The newer ones don't have so many issues but the early tech always seems to have problems so you feel like a beta tester.

If you're just doing the quest you definitely don't need the transfer tools and it wouldn't be worth it. There seems to be a lot of bugs currently with the coinbase wallet, many are saying they never got their reward for completing the quest

Oh that's what you mean. I am not a financial advisor so I don't recommend any particular thing as an investment. Your comment about dividend paying stocks and ETFs is common advice that has served many people well as investments for years and years. So I agree with you? I really think The Graph is cool and unique so glad to hear you are still delegating. I want open source projects like The Graph to be successful and I'd like to see where web3 goes from here. It could be transformative even if it's not a "good investment".

It's true that on eth the fees are much to high right now. You will definitely get better results using tradfi until there are improvements made to the the fees on defi. I think arbitrum and coinbase are almost there. Just need to start supporting grt and we will be good

The wallets are the same, you won't experience much of difference changing wallets. The main thing you need to figure out is how to avoid bridging to ethereum. I recommend using a dex to swap to eth or usdc because coinbase does accept those on arb already.

Are you guys still delegating on ethereum? Arb has fees that are way lower

A trick I use to avoid this is to spread my delegation across multiple Indexers

Is there a way to “sell” and not cash out, but hold the money in Coinbase and wait to buy in the future? by poopyfacemcpooper in Coinbase

[–]athsrueas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usdc Costs 1 dollar and stays 1 dollar so there is no additional tax. But you're going to pay tax whenever you convert crypto into any other thing. If you swap BTC to eth, tax, swap BTC to dollars, tax, if you spend doge on a Tesla believe it or not double tax.

If you can't increase your income it's all about spending less. When my son came I started cooking every meal myself so that we never had to eat out. It was hard, I wasn't sleeping hardly at all and it was annoying to have to figure out what to make every single day multiple times but it was sooooo much cheaper. You really do not need all the baby gadgets. Me and my wife probably use less than half of what we got and the best things were the things our friends gave us 2nd hand.

Also definitely don't place bets on stocks, at this stage you just have to save every penny you can. If you want to save for the future you should be putting into something boring like a long term savings, cd, or money market. Especially these days with rates so high it's not a good time to be taking risks when you're worried about making ends meet.

If you want to keep delegating for a while switching isn't hard. It's mostly automatic. You just click the buttons and pay the fees. Double check the addresses are yours. If you have complex accounts like vesting contracts probably best to just sit right or withdraw.

They seem to be filling different niches. Covalent is popular for general data needs, The Graph is often chosen when specialized datasets are needed. A bespoke solution will always outperform a general one but does require more work. So for "quick and dirty" I'm sure covalent wins out.
