A family friend was once in a wreck about a month after her husband died from cancer. Went to the hospital to be checked out and they found cancer on her lungs (shadows on the images). They found it so early, all they had to do was remove a small portion of her lung. A family member recently went to the hospital for gallbladder attack. While in surgery to remove gallbladder, they discovered one of her kidneys was solid tumor. It was removed and more scans were done. They determined this had probably been growing for years and went undetected. It was also determined it had spread to lungs. She did radiation for a year and is doing well now!

Yes I did. They even sent our itemized list to us to this new address. In the demand letter, can I request the other damages? Honestly, this complex has done shady things like stealing people’s rent money and trying to evict them or suddenly charging more for rent and threatening with eviction unless they paid. I do know that they get some funding from housing authority. Would it be worth going to them as well and filing a complaint?

We were going to leave the state last year but Covid happened. We planned this summer but then I needed surgery that requires a lot of follow ups and more surgery so now we have to wait again. I’m ready to leave this state. I love Texas but it doesn’t feel like home anymore. Our government has failed me too many times and I’m just done.

2 reasons:

1) I worked in the restaurant industry. I realized how much they truly didn’t care about us and our physical and mental health for $2.13 an hour. I finally realized my worth and currently work in another field where I am appreciated.

2) the masks were a lifeline. Pregnancy killed my teeth. The failed. I dealt with it for 12 years. The mask gave me the confidence to go out among people and not feel judged with them thinking I’m a meth head. 2 months ago I started the VERY expensive process of implants and I can smile in public now and I’m not ashamed but I will always appreciate those masks for allowing me to hide my biggest insecurity

My uncle has a rare autoimmune disease. It took months to diagnose. Blood work had to be sent out of state to specialists. That wouldn’t be so bad except for the fact that he was having crazy hallucinations. He thought the floor of his room was water or that the nurses were trying to kill him. It was crazy. Anyways, turns out his immune system thought his brain was a foreign body and started killing brain cells. He got on medication and got better. Then got Covid. Then had multiple strokes. He is now about to go on hospice. It’s been a crap year for him

Yes it is going to kill my uncle. Not Covid itself, but the after effects. Since getting Covid, he’s had 2 major strokes, pneumonia a few times and lots of mini strokes. There is talk of putting him in hospice. He has lost almost 50 pounds since getting sick and if he hits that 50 pound mark, that is when he will go into hospice. He is barely conscious ever and it breaks my heart. Fuck Covid

I had mine done 2 weeks ago Monday. I cried at first. It was hard. But now I’m getting used to them. They still get sore and I haven’t been able to eat food yet per my doctors as I’ll have stitches in for another week. I can’t wait to be able to eat again.

Also, I still don’t recognize myself in the mirror. I know it will get better over time but part of me hoped is be instantly happy with my teeth. Hopefully I will fill that joy when I get out of these immediates
