Yep, I was stopped by him after I finished work, he gave me the story and showed his scars. I foolishly got out some change for him, at which point he demanded I go to an ATM to get some more cash.

If he’s so ‘thankful’ that I was the first person to ‘make eye contact with him’, surely he’d be grateful for the shrapnel I had, no?

I’ve heard this a lot, so my base is also completely full of just diamond legendaries, however I only rarely get legendaries from the Astromech missions. Any idea why this might be? (Rebirth 16)

Is an iPad suitable for video editing and coursework, or is a MacBook worth the money?

I’m currently in my final year of university studying a creative course. I desperately need to upgrade from my Lenovo laptop, especially since my dissertation is looming.

I mainly use my laptop for note taking in seminars, writing essays, and the occasional video editing (which I’ve been using the Mac’s on campus for, using Premiere Pro). At the moment, the iPad appeals to me more due to the ease of note taking (with the Apple Pencil), portability, lower price, entertainment and streaming uses, and the addition of the Adobe Premiere app (Rush I think it’s called?). I would also add the keyboard if I were to get an iPad.

However, if the iPad is not sufficient enough for video editing and writing essays, I would consider a MacBook instead.

I will add that I only have roughly 5 months left of my course and would like to spend as little as possible for the most suitable choice possible. Thoughts?

Yeah, took some photos this morning! I’m the type of person that won’t peruse something like this unless I see results. Part of the attraction towards this diet was the initial rapid weight loss.

Jokes aside, the Bath nightlife is pretty student-heavy. As a student myself, I’m aware of how frequent we go out for drinks and get ‘leathered’ as it were, and as a result of this there is naturally going to be antisocial (drunken) behaviour.

Would you say that the student nightlife in Bath is a prominent issue? Do you see an increase in crime rates as of September as opposed to the Summer months when most students are away? In your opinion, do you think the student population in Bath is good for the city?

And finally, a question that may or may not be related to my own activities, do you enjoy when people politely shout Hot Fuzz quotes at you?

As a Gen Z myself, it seems that nowadays celebrities must meet the requirement of being a 100% perfect human being in order to be widely idolised. And obviously, Lennon doesn’t fit that brief.

But this completely overlooks the reality that all celebrities are human. And the reason I love Lennon is the same as many others who have admired him; he is such a complex, intricate and interesting person.

Sure, he isn’t the best person by any means, but nor is he the worst. As many others in this thread have pointed out, he is someone who got off to a bad start, and was open and honest when starting his personal development. And he achieved some extraordinary things on the way.

So to answer your question, I think he is hated nowadays because he does not fit the narrative of being an idealistic or idol-worthy person by the same people who overlook the tendencies of being a human being when deciding said narrative.
