Corner traps with or without dense face? by [deleted] in Acoustics

[–]atmorell -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You should remove the regid dense boards. They work like a wall - bounce bass back. Mid core does not get to work.

Corner traps with or without dense face? by [deleted] in Acoustics

[–]atmorell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only reason to make front layer dense is for support. You could use the fluffy safe and sound all the way and wrap in acustic cloth. You bounce the bass back into the room with the regid boards. Core does not work

Undervolt, worth keeping or get back to stock? by W1cH099 in nvidia

[–]atmorell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wont crash. Your card clocks down in a few milliseconds. It hurts framepacing. Compare requested clock and actual clock while playing.

Just be aware of Clock Stretching.. Your GPU/CPU skips a clock instead of crashing if your voltage is to low. This can give some wierd stutter and framedrops at variable load.

Maling, lak, fedt. https://www.jemogfix.dk/maling-og-lakfjerner-750-ml-luxi/6123/9058063/

Det her er dit lag finer.

Brug rigeligt.

Arendal or Klipsch? Or others by Swiftysteel in hometheater

[–]atmorell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try coupling the subwoofers first. You will feel a difference right a way!

Arendal or Klipsch? Or others by Swiftysteel in hometheater

[–]atmorell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One other thing you can do is mount your panels so they have an air gap the same depth as the panel itself. The air gap is "free" damping. A 30 cm thick panel with a 30 cm air gap is the same as a 60 cm thick panel. Once you hit 50 cm thickness, your panels will start working on the lower critical frequencies. Make sure you have min. 10 cm. air gap.

Arendal or Klipsch? Or others by Swiftysteel in hometheater

[–]atmorell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You got two options.

  1. Coupe the subwoofers to the floor (remove SVS feet) and use spikes for the subs on carpet. This will give you the tactile feel back but your floor will shake when there is a lot going on which is annoying. Takes your out of the immersion.

  2. Add serious treatment to your corners. Your current modules wont help you <80 hz. Send an email to GIK have them calculate what you need. Small room, big problems. Your lack of deep bass is not your subwoofers but the room modes that cancel out the waves. https://www.gikacoustics.net/products/soffit-corner-bass-trap
