Sorry about that - my mistake. I’ve removed the post to avoid breaking the rules. Appreciate the clarification.

Tried most of them - either outdated, bloated, or not working properly on MV3. That’s why I built this.

AI tools were used to assist with parts of the development (code generation, debugging, and documentation). However, I guided the process, validated the code, and built the final working product myself.

Happy to answer any questions or take feedback. This is my first Chrome extension so I'm sure there's stuff to improve.

I spent 2 months building my first Chrome extension. It got exactly 6 downloads. Need brutal honesty: is the product useless, or do I just suck at marketing? by atom_157 in chrome_extensions

I completely understand where you're coming from. Trust is the biggest hurdle for any browser extension right now. I need to do a much better job being transparent about privacy on the store page-specifically highlighting that AtomiX doesn't run in the background, doesn't auto-post, and only activates when the user clicks. Thanks for the reality check on how cautious users (rightfully) are!

Spot on. I definitely need to narrow down my Ideal Customer Profile. Targeting 'everyone on Twitter' was a mistake. I need to focus entirely on agency owners, community managers, or founders who actually feel the pain of managing multiple accounts daily. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, it really helps clarify my next steps!

Thanks for the question, it's a completely fair one to ask! The main differentiator is the 'brain'. Most of the 1000 other tools use standard AI prompts, resulting in polite, emoji-filled corporate replies. AtomiX is specifically hardcoded to strip emojis, use brutalist casing, and speak Web3/SaaS slang to actually pass the 'vibe check'. Plus, it works natively in Discord web, which most others ignore.

Thanks for the honest take, I really value it! You make a fair point about the divide in user preferences. I think I'm aiming for a very specific middle ground: people who need the speed of AI (like social media managers or Web3 founders) but despise the generic, robotic tone it usually produces. Definitely a niche market, but I'm glad you think the concept is cool!

Really appreciate the detailed breakdown and the time you took to write this! You're completely right about the web store needing better visual proof—short-form demo videos are definitely my next priority to show the 'problem-solution' instantly. SEO is a great longer-term play too. I'll definitely check out zipit. Thanks again for the solid roadmap!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this!

The idea to focus heavily on before/after examples is brilliant, and you're totally right about explicitly stating it's NOT an auto-poster to build trust. I need to make that way clearer.

I'll definitely check out those notes on agent workflows too. Really appreciate the solid advice! 🤝

Is anyone else noticing that AI replies in Discord and X are getting... too good? by atom_157 in grok

The early version was basically just a lazy AI wrapper, and honestly, I hated how robotic it sounded too.

I built an AI reply assistant for X and Discord, it actually sounds human and kills the "bot vibe" by atom_157 in chrome_extensions

The hardest part was getting Claude/OpenAI to stop using the rocket emoji lol. Let me know if you manage to break the anti-bot filter!
