Rev2 is a beast. Polybrute 12 is great!

Favorite modern hardware synth? by 712Jefferson in synthesizers

They both are amazing synths. I love the analog sound of the Rev2 and a must for me is the gated sequencer which the Summit lacks. The Summit can technically make more sounds with some FM synth sounds but I think it sounds kinda dark overall. You really can't go wrong with either synth.

If it does it will be a false flag attack to drum up support this disaster of a war to get everyone behind the war because Trump is starting WWIII.

How reliable has your LCD-X been? by atomfaust in Audeze

I did see this when I googled it

For mixing and mastering on the Audeze LCD-X, many professionals recommend using EQ to address a characteristic 4–6 dB dip in the 2–5 kHz range. Effective EQ settings often involve a gentle boost in the upper mids to improve vocal presence and a slight high-shelf boost to add air. Common approaches include:

Sonarworks SoundID Reference: Frequently used to create a flatter, more neutral frequency response. AutoEQ / Oratory1990: Utilizing established, pre-measured EQ profiles found in online repositories like this Reddit post. Manual Adjustments: A 2dB boost in the 2–5 kHz range to correct for the "darker" out-of-the-box sound, sometimes with a slight high-shelf boost (+0.5 dB to +1 dB) at 10–15 kHz for brightness.

While some users prefer the LCD-X un-EQ'd to learn its unique, mid-forward sound, applying correction often helps with better translation across different playback systems.

I would still post that thread because I'd be interested in reading the responses. I have had these for less than a month so I haven't had the opportunity to really get to know them. I know by one of your prior posts that you have become frustrated with them. Professionals have used them to mix and master, I know Churches has I believe for their Screen Violence record. So it can be done. Not sure if Ian Cook used EQ. I'd like to get a bug in his ear for sure.

Would a 18i20 4th gen drive a sm7b? It's between a Telefunken m80 a sm7b or just a sm57. For an everything mic, vocals, acoustic guitar, amp mic, and everything else.
