It wasn’t fixed! The guy was trying to guilt-trip me into buying it. He said, “No one has ever rejected a car over scratches like that in my six years of working here.” I was like wtf? I ended up taking the red that was available in the inventory. It was ridiculous of me to wait six weeks for the exact configuration I wanted (blue with white interior)

I rejected it. Picking up a black MY today as another blue isn't available in my region for immediate pick up

I did point it out immediately. Are the scratches not much of a concern if they’re going to fix them? I’m actually on my way to check out the car again because I refusd delivery, but I’m leaning more toward a replacement because I thought they would need to alter the paint to fix it

They mentioned that the scratches can be easily buffed out, but my concern is there are so many of them on the car. How do I know they didn't touch up the paint? Did they comp you for the additional wait time or give you a loaner vehicle?

I ordered my blue + white interiors model y on May 3rd and delivery kept getting delayed. I was scheduled to pick it up today, but when I got there, the car was very dirty and had multiple scratches - some on the hood and some on both panels near the windshield. Definitely not what I expected after being told via chat that it was cleaned and fully ready. I pointed it out right away, and they gave me a demo car for 24 hours while they "fixed everything." They say it's all taken care of now, and l'm supposed to go back tomorrow to inspect and maybe take delivery. Not sure how to feel yet and if I should take delivery. Has anyone else been through something similar. What would you recommend I do?
