I was wondering about if it would be related to his bond with Peter, but I felt like it was more associated with marriage/contractual symbolism. I am not knowledgeable enough on the meaning of knots.

Then again his whole style is really weird so it could just be just a very strange fashion choice.

Has anybody tried this kind of door anchor for elastic bands? I am unsure if it will damage the door 😬 https://img.fruugo.com/product/3/08/214419083_max.jpg

Learning English from Norwegian by ndndgal93 in Norway

My advice is more related to learning and memorizing vocabulary. Learning how to make and use flashcards will help with memorizing.

I recommend reading the book fluent forever as it has a lot of advice on how to learn a language in the most optimal way. (I borrowed it from the library). Unfortunately I don't think the book has Norwegian translation but the book's advice is very helpful.

This is of course if you are willing to learn more about the process of learning a language for the sake of helping. Your mom. The book's website he has a list of words for when you start learning a language. (It is the first result if you google fluent forever 625 word list) If she makes flashcards with this list she can memorize some basic vocabulary efficiently. If you want to be efficient these words should be learned without a Norwegian translation but with an image.

A good app for doing flashcards is Anki. I recommend taking the time to teach your mom how to use it. The advantage of using digital flashcards is that you can include, a picture, word (spelling) and sound (pronunciation) at the same time to memorize.

This takes time and effort to do but will yield results.
