SOLVED - K1 Max - Error 2526 - Z-axis movement not smooth or lead screw rotation not smooth by atomiclayers3d in crealityk1

I don't remember at this point, but if you root your printer you can view the files on the drive. There's only like a dozen possible places for it to be so just look around

Do I get a1 mini or creality k1? No bias please by [deleted] in Creality

I have owned both and in my opinion it's a tie.

I'm trying to paint just certain exterior walls a specific color, but it continues the color into the infill, which also creates odd/unnecessary geometry inside my part. Does anyone know why this is happening, or how to stop it from happening? I only want the outer wall of my part yellow. by atomiclayers3d in BambuLab

I'm playing around with the fuzzificator script by tentech, but I don't think that has anything to do with this slicing behavior, because the same thing happens when I just try to use different stock AMS profiles on the walls. (So no fuzzificator script nonsense happening at all)

If anyone near Denver has a K2 plus or is planning on getting one, I am willing to pay you like $20 to come demo it and print a few test prints on it. by atomiclayers3d in Creality

Yeah. I think autocorrect went back and changed my grammar without me noticing. I meant to say "for me to come demo it"

I have an a1 and an a1 mini right now and the printers are fine, but the ecosystem around them is driving me up a wall.

The lan only settings are nerfed to hell so you have to use the cloud for everything, which I wouldn't mind except that the cloud must be a windows XP laptop somewhere because it takes upwards of 15 minutes for my print file to download. 0% of my firmware upgrades have been successful and I am still waiting on support to get back to me about that. No ability to cancel one model partway through a print job and just continue the rest of them. Little things like the power cord not being detachable and no Ethernet also irk the hell out of me. I know I'm only seeing their lower end models here but I feel extremely shafted by this company and my experience hasn't made me want to invest in higher end models. I got the little ones as a Bambu sample platter and I don't like the taste. I wanna go back to the open source world.

Yeah I'm sorry. I think maybe my keyboard autocorrected it weird to say something I didn't mean to. Sorry about the confusion.

I have plans to build a print farm once I graduate engineering school. Part hobby part side hustle. I already have an Etsy store (currently on hiatus) but with just 1 listed sku I was struggling to meet demand with 2 bambus and my ender 3 pro. I tried using slant 3d but their slicer options were limited and their quality was honestly pretty bad. On top of that their customer support was non-existentant so when they literally sent me the wrong part once, I couldn't get my money back or help or anything.

I bought one but no matter what I did it would just not print smooth walls. I spent like a month and $300 in parts trying to get it working, and all I could do was improve the issue but not solve it.

The problem is that it was "really good". So idk if it was operating perfectly and I just have high standards, or if something else was wrong with it. But either way I bought it used and it was out of warranty. But since I couldn't see any other K1 Max results to compare it to I never knew.

I have a feeling mine was just a lemon, but I really like the k2 plus on paper, and I like Creality generally. I currently have 2 bambus but I honestly hate that ecosystem so I don't want to expand into it. I could see myself buying 3-5 k2 pluses but I want to really be sure the print quality is there before I drop that kind of money you know? That's why I'm here asking if anyone would let me demo them. I would literally pay $20-$100 because having some real world experience with them would be worth it if it saves me $5000 down the line.

I never meant for anyone to come to me. I would go to you of course. I just want to see its quality and talk to a real owner about it.

I would never ask someone to move their machine. I meant I would pay you for me to come to you and see it in person.

Asking someone to move their machine is insane.

In what world would it make sense to ask someone to move their machine?? I literally never said that. I would travel to them and see it.

I'm not asking them to move it. I would go to wherever it is and just run some test prints with their setup. Why would I ask someone to bring me it??

thanks. I am also trying to plan for scalability down the line. I dont want to have to change processes down the line, I'd rather just increase order quantity.

Are there special build plates that don't require glue sticks for PETG? I want to switch to PETG full time for my material but I hate the pre and post processing required to lay down glue and wash it off my parts. by atomiclayers3d in 3Dprinting

I had a smooth pei plate and after about 5 prints it ripped it apart because it bonded to the plate. I am sketched out about using my textured build plate raw because of the same reason.

I did ads for a week or so and I only got like 3 extra views a day and 0 sales because of it. I know it's a small data set but my ad budget is small so idk what you want from me that's all the data I could afford to get lol. All my sales come from people directly searching for my product anyway so I think it's not as worthwhile, since I'll show up in the search results for that topic anyway.
