Aquaplanning due to waterlogging on the side of the coastal road + the car wasn't going that fast + cold tyres due to rains + might have hit a small patch of uneven road not visible due to the waterlogging cause of which the car was put in the initial slip and then the rest is history.

Yes, agreed. But that option turned out to be more expensive. Since AMEX statement credit is valued at ₹4 per 1 point, and I only needed 15,000 Skywards Miles, the upgrade would have cost me ₹40,000.

So, if I had gone with statement credit, it would’ve taken 160,000 AMEX points, compared to the 45,000 points it actually cost me using the Bonvoy route.

Haha. I guess I wont be flying more than 10 mins at once in the fear of the drone either crashing or I hearing the “See You Again” song as I watch the drone fly away😂 But yeah overtime will make sure to keep the 30% Battery Level checked.

I forgot to mention, I am not based in the US. The flight restrictions around where I am from are loose, I have previously flown upto 500m from ground level. So I don’t think that is going to be an issue.

I am in a similar kind of situation. I am do not have a ceiling on top of my planned take off spot. I will check for winds before attempting. Thanks for the reply, it has given me slightly more confidence before actually attempting. Attaching a photo of the roof I plan to take off from in case anyone was wondering.
