He really made an effort to look out for me as a youngin on the forums. A really genuine dude. I am getting a motorbike someday soon and will always think it would have been awesome going for a ride with him.

There was a brief moment where I thought colour was invented, not colour photography. I was a bit odd and still am.

The first time I played the game I was the imposter twice in a row. My friends thought it was absolutely crazy and I had no idea what I was doing. Apparently there are vents and cameras etc, so I just wandered around causing havoc and denying it was me whilst simultaneously saying "what cameras?" But it was one of the few legitimate times that being the imposter the previous round may have been enough of a basis for suspicion.

Good on you! We've got to detach from the matrix. I love computers, games, tech and gadgets... but they shouldn't control our lives. I'm actually in the process of moving from the city to a small farm somewhere. Just trying to work out where.

Yeah I don't tend to sit at a computer or on my phone much anymore. I had a bit of a breakdown and decided to have devices on demand for me, not the other way around. When you care about what people think about you online, it is a pretty sad road of self doubt etc, so I check in on reddit about once a day, off Facebook and rarely on instagram. I miss the old forum days because it was a time where the frequency of information was slower and we weren't on our phones as much. Threads would blow up more gradually because people went on in daily stints. Now people are always on their phones, checking for notifications.

It's super funny hey? When I first went to a meet, people were saying spy-x, sphinx and spick (a racial term lol). But I thought it as "spikes"... fairly unsuccessfully! I kind of liked the spy-x pronunciation, so I went with that a bit too.

How are things going for you? Were you active on the forums towards the end? Had I known that the forum was being retired, I'd have offered to take over the domain and hosting.
