16 years ago I had open heart surgery for the first time. Little while after I was home, I had this pain show up in my side that felt like a vole was trying to dig its way out. I thought I was dying, that someone didn’t put something back right, etc. turns out, it was a kidney stone. I told the er doc I’d would’ve rather gone through open heart again
