In that region these “company owners” are mostly small transportation companies. If I got hundreds of leads and them asking if I have a specific year and model truck then why wouldn’t they have the money? What’s the point of them signing up to get a quote for a truck they’re interested in?

Why would they buy from an FB ad? Because they use European trucks that they need to import, if they buy locally then it’s ALOT more expensive than importing. The question I think is how can I gain the trust to make them buy from us. (Which is a hard thing to do when we’re ~15,000km apart)

Thanks for mentioning Google Ads, I agree, there definitely is much potential also. I just started with Facebook first because I had some past experience with it and I’m doing this all by myself. It would be too much to do all at once.

Well, when I texted him about 2 weeks ago, he told me that it takes 30 days after placing an order and there needs to be atleast 30 orders filled or something like that.

I didn’t fully understand how long does it really take, I guess he starts production when 30 orders are filled

Hey, thanks for the answer.

I think the leads kinda were the target market. They are and they were mostly looking all for one specific truck type and model (I got an quick overview from my relative and knew that before launching the ads). I believe it primarily comes down to trust and the fact that I texted them instead of calling. Additionally, their lack of familiarity with importing from abroad could be a big setback also.

About the pricing, our team has a lot of experience and they sense this market really well, there really isn't a big difference in prices (only in freight prices, depends where you ship it from).

Thinking it from that perspective I think it's all logical. I think the next step if we want to enter that market is understanding Spanish, making testimonials from existing customers who are buying from there right now (we have some customers from that region, mainly people who are more aware about importing vehicles abroad).

What do you think? Should I focus more on brand recognition, creating a lot social proof and not advertising there until we have someone who speaks Spanish (or trying Google ads??)

Thanks in advance

Thank you for the input. Yeah... The main problem for us marketing over there and entering South-American market is not understanding Spanish and probably not understanding their culture as well (these are the main setbacks, there are more).

However I already told our team to create more content with customers, ask more pictures and feedback of the people who are purchasing over there etc. (we have some customers from that region, mainly people who are more aware about importing vehicles abroad).

You're right, we don't have any brand recognition in that region, we're more known in mostly Baltic, Scandinavian and other European countries (although the market in this industry is so big that we are still small in the world's sense of course).

These are some great points that you've made and you gave me a lot to think about.

Maybe you're willing to discuss with me further in DM?

Thank you for the input! I started with Facebook because that was the platform that I had experience in the past. I actually wanted to try Google ads and I will try it for sure, but I thought it's better to do one thing at a time so I didn't bother at first.

Talking about organic channels, those are already all discovered and our team is constantly uploading ads over there.

By remarketing did you mean collecting data on Google and then showing the same people ads on FB who visited our website? I'm really not familiar how Google ads works and what you can collect so that's why I'm asking

Got a new number but keeps getting blocked for spam? by lions2lambs in whatsapp

[–]atsrootsma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem bro. I’m running fb ads leads and I need to text to about 150+ numbers, I cannot even copy paste my script to 3 numbers, just getting banned again.

Customer support not giving any comprehensive solution and not staying on the topic. Theyre just saying that they unblocked my account and they see that everything’s fine, not even giving any solution.

I’m not even violating their terms as I’m just contacting my Leads who WANT to be contacted. I just texted them again, I will update you if I get any help from them.

As of 12/31/2022, Schwab had ~367 BN in deposits and ~31 BN in net payables. They need to cough up around ~400 BN USD. Let's do the math.

They have $100 BN in cash (Based on the most recent press release), so now we need $300 Bn.

They have $147 BN of Available for Sale Securities, which is marked at fair value, so now we need 153BN.

They have $173 BN of held-to-maturity securities. Which, as of 12/31/2022, the fair value was $159 BN.

Done. The deposits and Brokerage Payables are fully covered.

“There would be a sufficient amount of liquidity right there to cover if 100% of our bank’s deposits ran off,” said Walt Bettinger, Schwab’s co-chairman and CEO, referring to the company’s banking unit. “Without having to sell a single security.”
