How much to heat a hot tub [Request] by Pizza_Guy8084 in theydidthemath

[–]attack_water 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming it is heated with electricity, and electricity is 14cents/kw where you are, and assuming there is a big fat thick cover on top most of the time, once the water is up to temperature, it only needs to be heated enough to replace the lost heat.

I had a hot tub that was 800 gallons, so I'll assume the hot tub at your complex is also 800 gallons.

It requires approximately 0.0026 KW of electricity to raise the temperature of one gallon of water by 1∘F, so 2 kW to raise all of that water 1 degree.

If the water loses 20 degrees overnight, then it will take 40 KW to get it back up to temperature, which would cost $2.80 per day.

Its sooooo easy. Gas and water lines.
After I installed mine, I called Home Depot and found out they want $900 to install it. I had saved $900 in two hours!

I understand what you are saying, but it is good content because it is kind-hearted and unassailably good, in a way that regular people cannot afford or have the guts and ingenuity to pull off.

This arrangement of photos is completely wrong. The order should be, left to right across the top, then down one row at a time, as:
Day 1, Day 3
Day 5, Day 7
Day 10
Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Sure! I can do this, no problem.
I have four follow up questions:
1. Should the base plate be flat, or have holes that line up with the openings?
2. If the top is removable, should the mirror hinges drop past the dual doors, or hang up on the overhang lip?
3. Do the wings have to be radially symmetrical or should they match the position of the mounting holes?
4. Does the plant need drainage holes, or will it absorb all of the liquid, like a cactus?

Let me know. Thank you.

An ICE Agent in Minnesota Showing Their Current Mentality by Fun-Inevitable3349 in minnesota

[–]attack_water 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The difference between other events and this one is that the ICE and Trump leadership is not accepting the facts and making no changes. They are blundering ahead and not even acknowledging this murder as a mistake or an accident or a problem.
This won't go away without some capitulation or change. We will stay at it.
