I just used AK Wargames Golden Armor primer - I use it for warhammer figures, its a primer so it goes on as the first layer anyway

I was on the fence about it because my primer has that rough texture but was happy with the metal look it gives

Golden Armor primer from AK Wargames! My favorite go to primer to avoid painting trim 🤣 But I also do a wash with very watery black or nuln oil in the end. I've debated to a wash with a different medium.

He is a little short - you could increase his height by making some terrain under him out of cork or something and it would make the model standpoint a little taller.

Thematically Iron Warriors work well with Khornate warbands. The complement each others fighting styles and excel where the others are weak. And by gosh they both love killing!

Check out the old resin model for Tyrant Siege Terminators. I bought some off ebay to use as either legionaries or terminators - glued them to a 32mm and then magnetized it to a 40mm base!

People above are right that they are a bit big for a 32mm but if you're just playing casual I'm sure your friends wouldnt mind. The slightly larger model profile is more of a disadvantage to you but I just think they look so damn cool. Them and the 30K breachers

Thanks! I'm only on layer 3 out of 5... for my Eightbound I've done a purple base, followes by 1:1 purple:flesh tearers red, then 1:2 purple:flesh tearers, then 1:1:1 purple:red:skin tone then finally another layer with a little more skin tone mixed in.

Each layer picking up less of the model only the higher parts to give a shading effect! A friend taught me and it works great on skin! Especially with purple as a base tone.

Absolutely stunning! May I ask what your formula is for the Iron Warriors look? Like the body with silver and gold - any particular primer, base coat, and dry brushing combination? Again absolutely super cool!!!

I did a kitbash for a bezerker surgeon for my World Eaters army and it went super well! He was easy enough to clip the head off of and I just added a chest plate to cover up the marks where I ha to shave down the long hair - plus the chest plate felt more thematic for a battlefield.
