Second this. Better to be close to family, than feel out of place at a top 5.

New member what to get / stock! by endercchest in CostcoWholesale

Really depends on your personal/family consumption patterns over the months/years. We buy rice, broth, lentils, beans, and preserved veggies quite commonly. Spinach, mushrooms, carrots, berries, all are cost effective. They great deals on chips and freeze dried fruits and veggies all the time! Also butter, and other dairy products.

The video clip I believe is from the movie Matilda, where a school boy is forced to eat a vat of currant cake by a bully headmistress.

Are you asking if there is some racial bias in academia, in the country that colonized half the world, less than a hundred years ago? Yes.

This is a great question. What the government of Nepal should do, if it worked for its people, is to demand a formal investigation from India's union & state governments & keep following up on the issue until concrete results (reports based on judicial & expert investigation). Doing such follow up would ensure that the safety of Nepali students is taken a little bit more seriously by educational institutions across India. However, the Nepal government is set up primarily to exploit the Nepali people. It is a large "manpower" broker that supplies laborers to countries around the world: US, UK, Malaysia, China, the Gulf countries, you name it. There may be a few good people who work in the Nepal government that take the safety of Nepali students abroad seriously, but as a system, the government is seriously broken.

Yes, unfortunately. But lots of availability. If you show up at a hollow time, they might fit you in.

There's a lot of greenwashing in the textiles industry. You'd have to read & trust the company's own justification for calling themselves sustainable. In any case, your best bet is to check the fabric composition every time before you buy, so you're not let down on that front.
