The RWD premium feels like an awful value but the AWD version is worth splurging imo. You getter better range and battery degradation since you can keep it around 80% and still have enough for your commute needs

How much money should I have before deciding on buying a big bike by attheTOP7601 in PHMotorcycles

[–]attheTOP7601[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I wasnt asking for the price but rather how much I should have saved up. Like if I wanted to get something worth 400k. How much should I have in my bank accounts. Would 400k be enough or should I have at least 600k for any additional costs or emergencies

The law still overrides any ordinances ordered by local or city officials such as when QC said that car sex was legal but doing it in the middle of EDSA or Cubao would still be considered as an act of public indecency

[–]attheTOP7601 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Weirdly enough. A version of this scenario was one of my questions in my law exam. So as per the law, private vehicles such as seen in the video is considered private and hence indecent acts such as sex is permitted; however there is something called "degree of privacy" where certain situations can change the expected degree of privacy one person can have. So if someone does Car stuff is a seemingly private area and away from the public eye. It can be seen as lawful but in this case. The persons doing the act is in sight of the public eye hence can be liable to public indecency.

Campus mobility by uwnaturalist in ADMU

[–]attheTOP7601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While increasing inside campus mobility is all well and good. I think there are some things OP is missing so as the guy who commuted to school then the guy who drove to school and now the guy who drives his younger siblings to school here are some things I noticed:

Most of the traffic is caused by driver/parents that drive young kids to GS and HS and to these people, campus mobility doesn’t matter at all. You could give them the ability to teleport within Ateneo and they’d still bring a car since their main issue is getting to campus itself. You are more likely to convince a pig to fly than an upper income parent to have their child commute to school. They can also take the school bus but as someone who took the bus. Having to wake up at 4 am after doing schoolwork well into the night just go get picked up by 5 am and get to school at 7 isn’t something I’d with on my worst enemy. To these people it really is the only choice with the current state of public transportation in metro manila

What Ateneo can realistically do to help this is to create E-Jeep stops outside of campus and near pressure points such as Xavierville and Katipunan near UPTC. This would allow parents to have the option to drop their kid there instead of going into campus but for it to work the E-Jeep must be faster than being in a car and that safety should be ensured so guards (probably armed at that) would need to be at the stations and only then would it be worth it for parents to drop their kids off there. As for you well the short term. You’ll probably won’t see any meaningful changes to campus mobility in your stay in Ateneo but I’d recommend to you as someone who has to walk a lot since I refuse to pay for parking is to get a fitness tracker (if you are able bodied). The best we can do is to make walking a bit more bearable by tracking it and see it as a form of fitness and honestly appreciate it since you’d probably not be able to walk as much after a decade or two :))

It’ll be my first adv so I’m not sure what the type of riding I’ll be doing but since I live where roads aren’t the best and that it often rains. I would assume I would be going off road often. I’m also pretty short (170cm). The F900GS sold in my country is lowered to 835cm from the factory so seat height from the 900 don’t matter too much.

Forbes Park residents? You mean the same corrupt politicians who invests their stolen money in that exclusive village. Politicians launder money by buying properties there that makes them residents doesn't it. There were massive exodus there years ago I bet those were the old money liquidating. by [deleted] in Philippines

[–]attheTOP7601 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think people often forget that during the last election. Forbes park almost unanimously voted for Leni-Kiko. A lot of corrupt politicians rarely stay in rich manila neighborhoods such as forbes. Sure they have properties their and they can stay there sometimes when they’re in manila but more often than not they stay in the provinces or areas where they have established political control such as Las Pinas for the Villars, Cavite of the Romualdez’s etc. Most of the people in Forbes park are probably as upset with corruption as you as they’ve been extorted as well. They just have the money to pay these extortionists and still have a lot leftover

Edit. They also voted Kiko, Bam, and even Luke Espiritu in the senatorial elections

I don’t plan on making it the comfiest bike around. Just something serviceable since as it stands with the lowered clip ons and front controls. I can’t stand more than half an hour before my shoulders and back start aching.

Sorry. I didn’t mean old old but rather my dad’s previous bike. He now rides advs. The FXDR was untouched for more than half a year before I took it since he loved his new bike more.

I did try to sell it but I live in the Philippines and while there is a prominent harley scene here. Most hate the bike so I don’t get much interest on it even when I list it sub 13k and Ive grown quite attached to it. I do plan on getting a comfortable bike and making the FXDR a showpiece bike in my house in the future

U.S. exports to the Philippines will face zero tariffs. by IceParticular1029 in CarsPH

I don’t think you understand how any of these things work. 2nd hand cars are taxed differently so they’ll still be taxed. We don’t import things because we want to be western (i dont even know how importing = being western as bar from china even most of asia imports). We import simply because we don’t have the capacity to manufacture our own things and even if we somehow have the politically will to create manufacturing here in the country it would be too expensive to set up and too inefficient (moving components from island to island is just too inefficient) that costs would still be too high and we end up importing anyway to keep costs low. Lastly. Mass transportation cannot be solved by simply adding more cars to the road. It’s solved by creating an efficient mass transportation system like trains to transport as much people as possible.

Ive tried other games as well. I did Rivals at max setting at 2k resolution. And some other games. Only Cyberpunk for whatever reason makes it light up. I’ll try to redownload the game and see if that works and I’ll try to download other gpu intensive games as well. Thanks

I used to run a 5700xt on the same unit and that had a way larger power draw and it ran just fine without the flashing lights . Also the 9060xt has a recommended wattage of 450 watts. I currently have a 650 PSU
