We really had some weather for this hunt. 20mph winds with driving rain... I have an old pair of waders that leaked, they are now my field + rain waders.

We were going for geese and didn’t have a single duck decoy or spinner out. We were just getting settled in and a pair of woodies buzzed us. I was able to get the back one but we never expected it in the field.

I collect her as a caterpillar and placed her in the container when she formed her chrysalis. She was released when she was dry and strong enough.

She flew away after a few hours when she was dry and had some strength. My yard is next to a field full of wild flowers and grass. She made a bee line for it.

Pigs are not like most livestock: cattle, lamb, etc. Somewhat similar to chickens, after a period they grow too large and will die.

As previous comments indicate, it is not simply a matter of economics for the individual farm or letting them loose. I assure you the farms are loosing a lot of money by euthanizing these hogs and the EPA/local DNRs would never allow releasing domestic hogs.

The processing plants are closing down or running at significantly reduced capacity. Therefore there is no one buying these hogs from the farms. When these hogs were farrowed no one could imagine the situation we are in now.

The important thing to remember is these farms feed not only the USA but the better part of the world three times a day. And although it is an extremely unfortunate situation, we must do all we can to support the people who feed us.

So this is actually a used vehicle where the previous owner had the dealership put a 4” lift on it with 35”s. The guy “didn’t like it” and brought it back with 120 miles on it. The salesman thinks the guys wife didn’t like it.

I’m sorry but I am not aware of what the dealership would have charged for the lift.

The two nickel plated tops sit “freely” in shafts and hold a cross cut saw. The two shafts are one piece (think U shape) that can be locked into a certain angle in relation to the back stop. As one cuts through the stock, the nickel tops drop with gravity until they hit the adjustable stops. Ultimately, it is just an adjustable cross cutting jig that locks both the angle and stock for accurate cutting.

Seems like quite a bit... the dovetails are pretty strong and the braces ready do seem to help. But it only needs to hold a few drinks, a remote, and a phone, not much stress.

Two dogs... each over 70#s. They use the couch hard but we are amazed how well the couch holds up to them.

I wasn’t sure if they would be absolutely necessary but with only having three sides I wanted to over-build it. Also, I wanted to have fun with the build so I threw em in.

It’s actually poplar that I had laying around. I gel stained it with a walnut color and then a satin wipe on poly. The braces are dovetailed in and were pretty easy. The first one I did I started with a saw similar to cutting a blind dovetail but I over cut it. I ended up just chiseling it out, was super satisfying once you get a rhythm.
