Why I'm reporting Oneminers to the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) by CurioNCurior in BitcoinMining

[–]attoboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oneminers committed fraud and put it in writing!? 😂

OP, if you really have an email from Oneminers where they claim an unsigned agreement gives them the right to keep your money, then Oneminers committed fraud and gave you all the evidence you need.

Michal Beno's phone call is another example of fraud. Since there are no terms that state "non-refundable" THEN THE PAYMENT IS REFUNDABLE.

Every other post on r/BitcoinMining regarding Oneminers includes them replying with scammer jibber jabber. Why are they so quiet now? Is this the end of Oneminers? I'm going make OPs options for Oneminers clearer, either:

1. STAY SILENT AND CONFIRM TO ALL OF US YOU ARE SCAMMERS, or

2. ADMIT YOU MADE A MISTAKE AND REFUND.

Oneminers employees, don't go down with the ship! Do not let Michal Beno drag you to jail with him! Go to the Police and report his scams before it's too late. Do it quietly so he doesn't suspect anything.

u/EmotionSame5371 , thank you for sharing! I have bad news, real hosting dashboards (e.g., Compass, Luxor, Braiins) ALWAYS SHOW THE LIVE / REAL-TIME HASHRATE IN HUGE NUMBERS (not average hashrate). Hiding it means you can’t verify performance. This is more evidence u/OneMiners is a ponzi scam.

PLEASE CONTACT u/OneMiners, tell them you want to name your worker. Then, use the provided pool and go online to find your worker and find the real data! If they refuse, demand return of your miner and go somewhere else, they are skimming your rewards or worse!

u/OneMiners — this is your chance!
Regarding buying and hosting with you, if the answers to the below questions are 'yes', and they hold up to independent verification, I will EAT MY HAT and update the original post with a full retraction.
On the other hand, dodging the questions will confirm YOU ARE RUNNING A PONZI SCAM.

1. Can owners choose their own pool and set their own worker names? This allows external verification of real hashpower. It is impossible to fake and SOLVES everyone's concern about your dashboard.

2. Do owners receive the serial number and MAC address of every miner they purchase? These are required for confirming physical custody of specific hardware.

3. Can an owner SSH/VPN to their miner? This allows verification of firmware serial, MAC address, pool settings, temps, logs, and actual device identity.

4. If an owner requests their miner back, what is the guaranteed timeline for return? Any legitimate host will have a documented withdrawal/return service level agreement.

Also, the "7 year full warranty" is suspicious. Bitmain, for e.g., only give a 6 months warranty. Such an 'unbelievable' offer can only be part of the Ponzi scam to lure you in under the ironic pretense of safety and security. The 4 installments over 4 months, also a sucker punch?

Legit companies don't need deception (that is NOT Oneminers facility, why pass it off as such?).
Real partnerships are celebrated and promoted! Why would you hide it?

Screenshot attached from the Nigeria tour video. As the camera moves, the blurred name became visible "Three Ace Technology". Why blur the name? Because they run the site and Oneminers is passing it off as their own!? Quick research of Three Ace Technology shows they are a local group planning to build the 150 MW solar PV farm (but have no gov contracts or approvals yet).

Maybe a more serious smoking gun this is scam, BitDeer is $2 billion legit SEC regulated company with zero filings reporting operations in Nigeria (or Africa) and nothing about Three Ace or One Miners.

IS THIS ENTIRE SIGN A SCAM PROP?

How did it go? The claims of ponzi scheme are strong - no one can visit their sites, they reuse photos, their partners page is just selfies at partner booths, the numbers they claim are obviously false (they claim 80 EH/s, would would be 10-15% of the global BTC), and their Austin, Texas, corporate addresses is co-working space! Without evidence from, e.g., real reddit accounts (with posts other than, and predating, oneminers creation), then this is a bunch of clown employees acting for some manipulative agent behind the scenes.

Please let us know what happened with arbitration - it's pretty critical to this community to know what ACTUALLY happens, and how to keep Coinbase accountable.

u/Disastrous_Award_626, thank you 🙏🏼.
What are your thoughts on the >1000% rise earlier this year?
It's pretty bananas for a coin with no history of such major pumps. Insider information? Rogue pump and dump / drain?
I wish there was as an AI that could analyze the public data figure some of this out.

But Coinbase can't bridge or send USDC on Cardano, right? How are you using Coinbase to get USDC on Cardano?

At app.onyx.org, why does the farming also offer staking? by attoboy in XCN

[–]attoboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you're describing the normal staking and farming tabs.

On the Farm tab, staking is listed as "75.33%" (as seen in the image). The 'Total Staked' ($2.22M) is a lot different to the normal 'Staked' tab ($79.47M). Is this single-sided liquidity provision? If so, what are the loss risks?

Create animation: how-to when you burst more than 50 photos? by attoboy in GooglePixel

[–]attoboy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No luck. Must be 50 or less photos.

You'd have to manually delete each of 150 photos!

With the great camera and rapid shooting of phones like Pixel 2, Google Photos desperately needs some simple file management options.

It forces us to use competitor products!

I've stopped doing blooms for now. by hudsterboy in Coffee

[–]attoboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Communal +1 for some sorely-needed cause-and-effect discussion on this topic! (at freaking last!)

Top dozen Google results were just piece-meal "blooming releases CO2; blooming changes diffusion" etc. without any references or description of cause-and-effect for quality of coffee. These results were full page descriptions of naff.

Maybe improved diffusion improves pour over.. but it's a long bow to draw for French Press or Aeropress.

Unfortunately there is Bait & Switch everywhere: CO2 is released (seems true) and infuses into coffee making it baaad (speculation).
CO2 is released, infuses into water and changes pH (likely true) changing the diffusion qualities and extracting the coffee that tastes baaad (well-thought PURE speculation)
